R6: Vegas Nevada dam level. By far this is the best FPS I've played since FEAR ! But the game has been relatively easy so far....all u need to do is careful planning b4 entering an area and take care ur teammates are in proper cover !

Now, Logan Keller is my fav in-game character after tommy, CJ and freeman

Ok, for ppl who've played R6:Vegas, pls help me out:

So far this game has been pretty easy, but, I'm stuck at this particular junction in the 'Nevada dam' level. Here is the situation. Its the mission where you need to go and open the floodgates. U go to the shack with the computers and order jung to hack the computer to open the flood gates. Just as he's working a group of ppl come from the gate in the front, and the back, and within a span of 4-5 secs, the computer is destroyed and the mission fails :(

The problem I'm facing is:

1. I dont have any sub machine guns, I've 2 assault rifles(mag size is just 30) and they destroy the computer while i reload.

2. The distance between the shack and the gates is too long to frag and take them down.

So, let me know how u finished it. One author said that its just pure luck to finish this mission while the one other guy gives a logical solution (but it again requires a sub machine gun :( which I don't have )

Help is appreciated :)

^^ like one of the author said, luck :)

i mean, see the situation is, too many ppl come from all directions and unless u have a sub machine gun, its not practically possible to take all of them out and the other guy - Michael is of no use at all !

Does this game have a co-op (didnt check) ? If yes, anyone wanna join just for this level ?

Even I had some initial trouble with this level. But its pretty simple once you work out how quick you need to be between sticking to cover and moving out to fire. Also, dont stick to one cover for too long as the blokes will frag you.

If you are low on ammo I suggest allowing on or two of the guys to come close to you before killing them and picking up their weapons. As I recall, I had a scoped rifle in this level, so I was able to pick off the first 4-5 guys just as they were coming out of the gates. I guess one of them must be a sniper and he must be the one killing Jung.

The trick I used is to set up C4 charges. Set them up near the metal doors before sending your guy for hacking. This way you can take 3/4 guys before they even enter the room. Also use stun/smoke grenade if you have any to buy some time.
