SquadronSupreme
Makes me think of the thousands of hours Ive spent myself glued in front of my PC playing strategy games.. Then again, I owe what I am to those hours... Sure, Im no game designer but those hours really went on to define who I am.. Anyways, just wanted to put it out there, that gaming in general is not evil. Depends more on a persons physical health I guess.. On a lighter note: Morning gym sessions and office work is keeping me healthy
HundredProofSam
There hasn't been a game yet that made me want to play it for anywhere near 12 hours at a stretch. So I'm safe.

Shantz
Chris' dad David says he does hold Microsoft, the manufacturer of Xbox, responsible for Chris' death Next we know someone's parents will be holding Ikea responsible for their kid's death because the ikea chair was so comfortable that the kid didn't want to move out of it and so died because of DVT
Right
^ Errr... There is some typo David does not blame Microsoft, the manufacturer of Xbox, he simply does not want another child to die from playing on it for hours on end. He doesn't hold them responsible. killzone123
Oh my dad gave a hefty lecture today after reading this . well wish it was some sort a forum news... a forum addict who use to post comments ...and then your dad giving you a lecture, would have helped us Sad really, but this why the old Xbox models had failsafe mechanisms against long gaming sessions. It would never reach 12 hour stint and breakdown before it could do any damage to the gamer. repped and yea, sad news
ethan
WELL WHY BLAME xbox or any other thing for this?? keep studying for 12 hrs continuous and even then u can have this blockage..that is why parents shud let kids play more outdoor games instead of telling them to study..GO KIDS u got a reason Nothing better than physical games AND activities..GYM Zindabad
Sherry Jose
Yeah, so sad to hear such news because most of us do this It is always better to pause the game when u complete a level or use the break in online games to have a little walk outside ur room ... I do play Tennis in the morning for my physical activity before going for office ...

i_rock098
12 hrs in continuation would be bad, but if you take proper breaks in between, eat food, and blah blah, you could easily play 12hrs a day without a prob.
