gmanu555
Wanna buy LED/LCD TV for gaming. Please suggest anything within the budget of 40k. My current choice: Samsung series 5 (full hd) LED. I have also seen panasonic lcd (hd ready) for 23k. Note: My existing samsung lcd tv has burnt when connected to hdmi port from desktop CPU. Funny part is tv and cpu power switches are off and I have seen spark behind the tv with a small sound. Samsung service guy has told tv's motherboard was burnt due to reverse power supply from graphic card.(Sapphire HD 4850). I'm saying all this because you all guys be careful when you connect your cpu to lcd tv. I'm not going to do that again :-) The TV service guy has told me that he has received many similar complaints from customers and he suggested me to use hdmi only with laptops. Karooo
Samsung is garbage. Go for Panasonic or Sony. Don't buy HD ready TV, get native 1080p res one, and make sure it's over 40. You can fit that in a 40k budget.

somu
Well Samsung has this lottery system, for their panels & there is no telling which panel, u might end up getting. Even I had a samsung series 5 tv & it went kaput in just 1.5 years & since Samsung has only 1 yr warranty, I am screwed. I suggest going for Panasonic (for their 3 yr warrantyl) or Sony (for better build quality & no panel lottery).

B-A-N-G-!!
the best TV ever is the Samsung High Definiton 3D 50". I have one n have no complaints what so ever. Don't go on comments but go through the comparison charts and see for yourself attach it to a home theatre system and it will blow your mind away with its strong 3D display.
