I have been playing this game on the xbox1 since a few days now, absolutely love it, the xbox1 version just got a patch(1.3) to fix the controller issues it was having,

just had an amazing race with 20 cars at spanish gp track, inside view & helmet cam is so awesome in this game, offcurse not comparing it to pc sims but compare to forza 5 this takes all the cake,

now waiting for the 1.4 patch which will increase performance for the xbox1 version, all said & done this is a great racing simulator on all platforms :walkman:

Played all Forzas (Since 2) and all GTs (since 3), IMO this game is beyond any doubt in a league of it's own. It's not even close.

My hotlap, superkarts are tricky but extremely satisfying when you pull it off.

But isn't its career progression nowhere near forza or gt.. i.e., u don't get new cars for finishing races or in depth customization of cars etc..

agree, Project Cars is all about fine tuning the cars you buy, trust me there is so much fine tuning here, makes you wonder how small changes to the car tuning can make lap time faster.

For pure simulation fans this is a very nice racing game, for arcade racers this is a strict NO. I haven't even started the career mode yet, just been doing random race weekends of diff class cars & i m having a ball of a time.

It's just a different approach everything is unlocked, I prefer it this way. With the limited time I have these days I cannot afford to grind through the career mode to be able to drive a decent class. You might not be able to add fancy vinyls on your car, but that's not how this game work. It's all about taking out a couple of units of air pressure from your front left tyre so that it can heat up fast enough during your outlap and be ready for your flying lap.

i agree i never liked vinyls in forza anyways..but i was expecting some kind of rewards system for winning races apart from just signing contracts..Also i believe it needs more cars and tracks..missing a lot of licenses..In time perhaps..

yeah looks like PC players are busy with Assetto Corsa .

yup, no wonder developers are targeting this gen consoles now, as thats where the money is made.

Now i know why Assetto Corsa is coming to ps4/xbox1 next year, they know they will sell more then double they sold on pc.
