Blueelvis_RoXXX
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Beta to Start in Early October Valve's upcoming reboot of the popular Counter-Strike series is well on the wall with Global Offensive. An extensive beta has been announced for Valve to fine tune the game, as was announced when the game was made official just a short while ago. Since then, Counter-Strike Global Offensive has been seen in the wild and played by many. Most recently, Chet Faliszek said in a recent interview that the beta for Counter Strike: Global Offensive will be coming in early October for those that have already received their keys. Keys which have been handed out at recent gaming events like PAX Prime and the Eurogamer Expo. Valve intends to scale players into the beta that haven't yet received a key as they rollout and continually update the game. Counter Strike: Global Offensive is set to launch in 2012 for PSN, XBLA, and Steam. Source-attcackofthefanboy.com

SRINI87
CS:GO Beta on November 30th The CS:GO beta will feature two maps at the beginning – classic favorites de_dust and de_dust2. The beta will be PC only, and for those of you without keys, never fear – Valve has made it clear that they will be giving out more keys as time goes on, and that eventually “everyone will get a chance” to play the beta. counterstrikego

SRINI87
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive out this summer Valve’s confirmed it’ll launch Counter-Strike: Global Offensive this summer. The game was one of many present at last week’s Xbox Spring Showcase in San Francisco. The release will come with new and updated maps, new gameplay modes, leaderboards and more. ctrl_alt_del
The game is laggy, bots over-powered, graphics stale and in gameplay boring. There. That sums up my experience with the game. I played de_lake.
SRINI87
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive cross-platform play ditched Valve has ditched cross-platform play in upcoming downloadable shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The Half-Life maker had planned to allow PC and Mac players to face off against PlayStation 3 owners - as it did with Portal 2. But Valve removed the functionality based on feedback gleaned from the ongoing beta, Chet Faliszek told Joystiq. "The beta has proved we want to update not just the beta, but the game itself post-launch frequently on the PC," he said. "To do that we need to separate the platforms so one doesn't hamstring the other. So for that, we have removed the idea of cross-platform play - essentially make all platforms stronger by not mixing them."

Right
It was dumb idea to begin with, said this pages back. Next to go is KBM support for ps3. Then there is no point in having steam on the ps3 version unless valve wants to swamp the ps3 users with updates, which ps3 users love to get on weekly basis for their systems. SRINI87
Valve Delays Counter-Strike GO To Summer You're going to have to wait a tad longer for the next Counter-Strike. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will be a summer game, instead of a spring game, Valve's Doug Lombardi told me today. kotaku
