Microsoft Europe Xbox chief Chris Lewis has made some pretty interesting statements in a recent interview eurogramer, claiming that ”Cross-Platform Experience” with games like Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 are bound to be better on Xbox 360. He says, “The experience users have through Xbox Live is a fundamental differentiator for us versus other platforms.”

“Exclusives are important,” Lewis told Eurogamer. “DLC windows of exclusivity are critical for us for differentiation… Exclusive IP is critical. You’ll see more of that over time. You’ll also see us, though, committed to working with people like EA and Activision on their cross-platform consoles to make sure they play better, and they integrate better across PC, phone and the console in a way other people’s just simply can’t.

“We’re also pretty confident the cross-platform experience is better on Xbox,” he added. “We enjoy great success with Call of Duty. Live is the oxygen that runs through our business. The experience users have through Xbox Live is a fundamental differentiator for us versus other platforms. FIFA is another one. Certainly here in Europe football is a religion. Our ongoing commitment to experiencing better and playing better on Xbox is partly a function of what we do with Xbox Live.”

U r cc will also get expired by that time

U can turn off auto renewal , u r saying as if there is no option to do it and MS forces u to pay.

FW updates of Xbox 360 are nowhere near big compared to PS3 .

I knw max update time for Xbox 360 was 20 mins that too the NXE one which was very big .

While on PS3 it is mostly above 1 hr

If you did not know , if you dload via PS3 directly , the updates are incremental now , so mostly they are 20 MB or such , takes 15 mins MAX

The updates take aprox. the same time to be dloaded

Download is much faster on my conn :)....

t took me 4 days to dload infamous2(15gb) & around 1.5 to dload AC:B(7 gb)

....I Downloaded a 1gb demo in 40 minutes on XBL..Where on ps3 it took more than 1 hour to download 1gb demo (My NAT type setting is 2 and download transfer speed is over 500kbps on pc,360 nd ps3 )....

supposedly if i die someday & no one knows @ my home that i was subscribed, they will keep charging me every month even after i'v died

in that case you shud call them today and turn off your Auto-renewal service... :P

@Ank having to call them just so u can turn off the auto-renewal isnt dat big of a deal i guess. As soon as u make ur payment the next day u call them up n u done! And yeah its nt like they forcing u to get the payment through CC only too. U can get the cards, which are indeed more expensive but saves the hussle in case u die for example lol

@Sackboy bro honestly, considering the updates, ps3 is a big pack of sh*t. When talking of major firmwares updates, it takes ages. Also there are some game updates which u are requires to download sometimes when u first put a game in ur console. These updates too are heavy as hell. On xbox, except if u downloading some additional content, the game updates are fast as sh*t, less than 5mins. U can state any advantageous point regarding psn and -s3, but please when it comes to updates and stuffs, just forget abt it.
