I just don't like the long pauses in action when you don't have a team mate near the objectives to spawn on. TDMs are good for fast paced fun but I can see that they don't have the essence of BF multiplayer which is squad oriented action. My problem is that I can't control any of the vehicles properly and I get mad when some kills me using a vehicle, I get this feeling of unjust every time that happens. Ofcourse you must first learn how to f**k though (how to play Rush)... no one likes to get strap on'ed (Pwned). Blowjobs (TDMs) are only good for quick pleasure (quick gun unlocks). I haven't played the game that much and this is my first Battlefield game, so its interesting to me. It also helps me unlock stuff faster. BF is not all about gun on gun continues shooting action. It's about planting motion sensors on hotspots, placing mines on busy routes, sniping lonewolf flankers who try & plant mcoms without backup, etc etc... Then there's a whole separate universe of ground vehicles to master. Then there's jets and helicopter's that are a different ball game altogether! The way you feel vulnerable when you are in tanks, i feel the same when i'm in jets. And believe me gun combat is the easiest of the lot if kills is what you want. You gotta master vehicles to efficiently take out other vehicles. It looks easy but it is as difficult as gun combat. Winning a face to face Tank vs Tank battle is difficult as it is satisfying. Be an engineer and repair urself or jump out and fire an rpg on a dying tank that may take u out if u were in ur tank. Spend time in these alternate play styles. And thats where rush comes in. Not too big as CQ n not too small as TDM. Balanced action. BF is not all about shooting with a gun. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I can play well even if my team sucks, no need to depend on the other guy to mark someone or take out a vehicle for me. I don't like it much cuz of the size of maps and the less number of players (& half of those are in ground or air vehicles). I'd dig CQ if it had 40+ players atleast, 20 on each side. I'd play CoD if I wanted brain dead action. I easily go 2 or 3+ kdr in most TDMs but I still feel dumb at the end of the round. I do play it sometimes though for a change of pace. mango_man Posted December 28, 2011 Author Report Share Posted December 28, 2011 See my funda is that to get the best out of Battlefield in every match, you need to- Play 50% with a gun (Change gun & class after every base is lost or won) 25% in ground vehicles 15% supporting you team mates/squad mates and 10% in air vehicles And doing all this- 75% for the objective and 25% for self (yea lets be honest) Only Rush allows this most efficiently.
