The trine indeed is one of the not so good place to work....

Not only they churn out shitty titles (Ra.One) with bugs intact.. they come up with statement like "employees leaving caused us hundred of thousands of DOLLARS"

When did they last saw a dollar note?

Worse part is not paying employees.

Sangam Gupta is the most stupid person on this planet. He does not know sh*t about how to run/handle a company. He screws with peoples lives who are passionate about gaming and who want to make career in it. Please ask previous employees of the company how they were screwed/exploited by him and while he himself bought a Ferrari from their hard work. And the above article just confirms how sick he really is.

Really, that douche has a ferrari?

BTW IMMA EXPERT in this game now:

Tip: Try to just time the ball like Sachin. Don't be a Dhoni. Hit 5 sixes and 1 four in an over. And this was my only innings after I got the hang of the game. Pretty sure I will rape the CPU now.

You know, that statement is true for more than 80% of the CEOs/COOs/founders of various studios in India... including some of the oldest ones.

Edit: 1000th post. Yay, and all that.

How to bowl

1) Press 'T' and move ur move left, right, up or down to choose the delivery!

2) Once ur delivery is chosen (u will see ur option light up on the right top corner where the bowling options are) and will see a marker on the pitch! At this time ur speed meter will start filling up.....to stop it u need to press the move button! If you cross the red line on the speed meter u will bowl a no ball!!

3) Now to move the pitch bowling marker, first keep ur move vertically upright. Now without pressing any button move it slightly forward (away from u) if u wanna bowl a short ball, backwards (towards you) if u wanna bowl full length, left or right and 'then press the 'T' button'. Your marker will move in the direction chosen by u when u press the 'T' button!!

Press start and quit the match.

.....thats the best way to do it

Played the game for a few hours yesterday. It's way better than any of the other Indian-made Playstation games, but its still quite poor. Batting is fun at times, but the game seems to have issues with cross-bat shots (square cuts especially). Also due to the camera angle they've gone with, the delivery is often lost in the background, making it quite hard to spot it and determine its pace. There is a ball trail visual aid, which I haven't tried. I guess that could fix this issue. Don't get me started about running between the wickets. Its like they get exhausted after every run and they need a 5-second breather before they can come back for a second.

Batting is still manageable, but bowling is just atrocious. First off, it took me a good hour to figure out the gestures I need to pull off to choose the delivery type. Rather than just moving left or right to select a swinging delivery, the game actually wants you to do a rainbow/semi-circle gesture in either direction, which is just stupid. Even more ridiculous is placing the marker. It couldn't have been more clunky. They really could have made the entire bowling mechanic a lot more intuitive. And if you are going to make it so complicated, there should definitely have been a more detailed bowling tutorial.

I'm not even going to get into how bad the fielding, throwing and the catching mini game are.

Still, it's an improvement over the other Indian made Playstation games. Definitely not worth 1000 bucks though.

In case anyone from Trine is reading, a couple of pointers for the sequel, or if possible, in a patch.

1. When a match is over, give the player the option of a rematch rather than just tossing them back to the main menu.

2. When the player selects Quit, confirm it with an "Are you sure you want to quit?" message. The option can get selected accidentally, especially in a motion control game. I can't believe that basic stuff like this needs to be requested.

Its pathetic. More of a hindrance than of any use. And yes, square cuts and pulls are impossible to hit. The running is useless. And innings simulate option is MUST.

I have played a lot of square-cuts without any problems (even hit a few sixes by actually tilting the bat and trying to hit the ball in the air)......you need to actually keep the move horizontal and a little above your waste and time it properly. Its not as intuitive to play that shot in this game as its very difficult to judge the bounce and actual line of the ball....thus instinctively its a little difficult to play that shot properly.

I agree with losing the ball in the background....specially in that kolkotta ground!!

Bowling is a complete joke!!! Its so damn complicated for no reason !! They should have had a tutorial for it, or better, should have just mapped the controls to the face buttons rather than the stupid awkward movement of the move controller. As for placing the ball, i find it easier to first tilt the move controller in the direction I wanna move the bowling marker, and then slightly press the 'T' button little by little!

Catching is pretty easy though....all you gotta do it spot the ball, place your circle over it using the move controller (i suggest position your move facing the tv as soon as the ball goes in the air), and press the move button! You get a lot of time to place the circle on the ball so its not much of an issue, but its silly why they went for such a stupid method to catch a ball.

Overall, the game is a big let down....its just the batting with move that makes it fun for me. I just pray that one day we can get a proper cricket game with move....heck they should just import this batting tech to IC2010 and its a WIN!!!
