Most high profile games on platforms other than Xbox have no online component. These include GoW, DMC, Ninja Gaiden, GTA, Gran Turismo, Zelda, R&C, MGS, Assassin's Creed and many more. Its because of their excellent and paid Live service that gamers expect to play games online.
