the physics with the wall after the vehicle crashed into it seems like a nice touch hope its not scripted and stuff in the world can be destroyed like that! looks like a long wait for PC F**k you R*! the consolation here is they wont charge 3499 like EA

 

I think it's scripted. Destructible environment would have been a big point and they would have mentioned it.

The best thing that Rockstar has done with GTA 5 is taking robust shooting mechanics right from Max Payne 3.

 

Not sure what limitations will be imposed on character switching or how its going to work in entire game.

Just saw the video ! WOW ! Fantastic ! Love the new art style but auto aim still seems to be the order of the day , just that its a dot now, instead of the circle! But looks fantastic! Very interested :D !

 

Sky diving was fab, so was that high mountain shot !!! Racing looks real fun too !

 

If there's a PSN version, I am preordering now !

Watched the vid 5 times. My gawd! Skydiving! Character change animation! Car chases! The whole damn video was a huge adrenalin rush! BC f**k pr0n for today, Ima keep watching this video.

How do you know it's 40+ gb?!

 

It's also on 360

40 gb there means more then 4 discs :lol:

I think i read somewhere that some games on ps3 come with uncompressed audio(audio files are really big in cases where they are not compressed) where as in case of xbox i think they do compress the audio which is why it somehow fits in 1-2 disc....

 

it might not be 40gb but in case of ps3 i think it will definitely be around 25+ Gb...

Yea. That was really innovative of R*. And even if it's not necessary to switch characters, it would still be really interesting to switch between characters randomly to check out what they are doing. I know I'll be doing it a lot.

Also, if the destructible walls is something that can be done on will, it would really be awesome. :O

Yup, and not only it makes the gameplay dynamic, it also adds tons of replayability. I read somewhere that there will be mission select to replay the missions, so you can mix and match and replay missions in a game already filled with tons of side activities. Looks like game of the forever to me. Should keep me busy till next gen easily.

It's really difficult to make 40gb multi-platform game

Either 360 version will be significantly downgraded or they have to do with 20 gb & 2 discs on 360

Sound being compressed is a valid point but still 9 gb vs 40 gb is too much of a difference

& pant ab roz gandi hoti rahegi September tak :P

360 is 2 disks, that is about 16GB, PS3 will be around 18. Why you guys are saying 40Gb?

Mostly the exclusives are released in uncompressed files...Getting back to the game.Wow GTA5 is going to be fun but switchable characters is the only put-off.I probably won't switch them unless mandatory to do so in a mission.

Why won't you switch? AI wouldn't control the characters....that's what I could infer.

 

Actually it's a cheeky way to increase the gameplay length, lets say if AI was controlling chars handing choppers and the sniper, player will just has to rappel down pick the guy and go back to chopper so player would spend time on just 1/3 of entire activities of a mission.

 

And I hope this is going to save you from driver job and driving around point A to B like GTA4 used to...I hope.

I don't care for it...If i wanted replayibility id rather prefer to start off the game with another character.I am not going to sacrifice realism by switching characters randomly.lol imagine you are flying a chopper and you switch the character and your other character is crapping inside a toilet :fap: .

About the sniper mission ,thats what I said id switch the characters when it is mandatory to do so.
