meaNmachine Posted August 22, 2013 Report Share Posted August 22, 2013 I was thinking about getting the digital version for that 75% discount offer, but then I came across this: IGN confirmed with Rockstar that GTA V (PSN Digital Version) will unlock at midnight Pacific time on September 17th, but you won't be able to pre-load it. So, basically, if you pre-order the PSN version of the game, you'd need to download it that night at midnight. For a game as big as GTA V, that might take some time on the PSN. If it was 10 bucks cheaper than retail I might consider but as it is, the only advantage is being able to play a day or so early with all the disadvantages of having a digital copy (big a*s download, no physical game to trade away, HDD space etc etc).
