Maybe Rockstar wanted this, planed the PSN preload on purpose. like how they paid for negative press & controversies for GTA IV. The duo has started a pretty awesome advertising business road trip in Taiwan's capital Taipei. A truck decorated with GTA V cover art and banner has been touring Taipei city. dylanjosh Posted August 25, 2013 Report Share Posted August 25, 2013 GTA 4 got what it got coz it was a complete package like none other at that time A bit of hype helps the boost in overall score but nothing more then that IIRC what happened with GTA4 is that review copies were not sent to publications because some got leaked. That resulted in a scramble to get the copy on day 1 and publish the review as fast as possible, which resulted in reviewers just playing the game half way or very little and just going with the hype or other reviews. Just a couple of years ago, hackers found a way to download Halo Reach copies meant strictly for reviewers through Redeem code functionality on Xbox live. Download the file, take the hdd out and put the files onto a PC. And just change the extension of the audio files. DONE!! I believe it can't be done unless you have a jailbroken PS3, as a PS3's hard drive can't be read by a PC directly. A PC can however get complete FTP access to a jailbroken PS3. But a jailbroken PS3 can't go to the PSN Store. So no, this can't be done by anybody either. It's not as easy as it sounds. Dude, Halo Reach, Halo 4, Gears 3 and countless other 360 games were leaked weeks before release date. That does not mean people should blame MS or the developers. Hacking PSN pkg files is not easy, people like us can't do sh*t. Hackers/Pirates will always find ways to access the game. People play Ubisoft games months before release and here you are crying because hackers were able to access GTA V audio files? LOL These hackers are still not able to get the game running on a PS3. So chill dude and ignore all these leaked BS. Just 22 days left!
