So you can steal car

Customise & park in allotted garage & if the disappear get them back from impounding?!

Is that it?!

Yes. Tried this today only.

Set a waypoint with a character and switch to other one. While you are playing with the other one, your first character will drive up to the waypoint automatically :P

Are you serious?

Btw, there is no fast travel in this game right?

Played the much talked about 'Torture' scene yesterday. Of course it is satire! How could the reviewers not see it? The whole context of the scene and especially the post scene conversation between the two people is clearly a commentary on the futility of torture.

When the guy says that he was ready to give up the info even before he was tortured, Trevor agrees and comments "Torture is only for the torturers". Also the scene was clearly brutal and meant to shock. It was not supposed to be gratifying in any way unlike shooting and running over pedestrians.

It was definitely meant to be brutal and make you think about what you're doing. Hell I was shocked when the game handed me control of that moment. f**k man what a scene. But I don't think it's satire though just because of some throwaway line at the end. Satire is supposed to come across as such, like how Michael was told to search for left handed smoking middle eastern looking man. That's clearly a dig at post 9/11 racism.

The torture came across as extremely brutal and shocking. I believe it was more of Rockstar telling it's audience "think about what you're doing? this is what you like in a gta game? is this what makes you feel good?". After all there must be a reason they made us play it out. That's the shocking part to me - the way they made the player do it.

Anyway that's my 2 bits. I'd like to hear more opinions on it. I think it's a topic worth discussing.

This article nicely sums up my thoughts on that mission.

Many sites have commented on this mission and most of them say that it did not fit in the mold of the satirical world that Rockstar had created. There is a lot of subtle commentary right through the whole scene including the conversation towards the end that almost nobody talked about. The article above is spot on.

So changed character to Trevor to find him in his white underwear. Stole someone's motorcycle, and went to the strip club. But it seems they don't let him enter the strip club in underwear. f**king bodyguards even started firing, all for wearing an underwear. Can a man not wear what he wants? :(
