You won't have anyone in your free roam mode, normal lobby system will work normally for you. Atleast you'll be able to do your missions and buy some fkinf clothes peacefully. Â And the time it takes to get you from lobby to free roam is significantly less if you started your session in a solo free roam mode. It can be so much fun once you get in a stable lobby which doesn't kick you out.. So much variety Abhi to they are yet to enable heists and content creator for users  Anyway I don't have the patience to go through 3 loading screens after ever game i finish so just gonna wait till tom. In passive other players are still there, in solo they are not.. i just deposit all my money and dont bother with those duckheads.. There's nothing solo about the solo free roam mode, you can drop in any game mode lobby and play with others as you normally would on a public free roam server. Â Just saves you the trouble of depositing money again n again n you wont have to worry about paying for passive mode as well also less chance of network errors.. That page is full of people reporting that issue. It is a problem with R*'s could servers. You online character is saved on their cloud server. Can happen to anyone. realsoccerdude111 Posted October 3, 2013 Report Share Posted October 3, 2013 There was this guy Who me and my partner defeated in 2 consecutive deathmatches.After the deathmatch he came chasing me in his car the whole Lost santos...poor guy I killed him at the end of it .He left. Â later on I sneaked up on a guy who was purchasing at a gun shop and moment he tries to enter the car after leaving the gun shop. too bad i couldn't steal his car cause that was what I was planning to do all along. Anyway don't give up just yet dude.. Some ppl on gaf got their chars back a day later.. Just don't create a new char and check back tomorrow. You might just get it back.. Anyway that's the main reason why i stopped playing.. It'll take them atleast one full week to solve all the networking and char related problems imo..  I played for only 2hrs i think and was only lvl 6 but ill be mad as f**k as well if i login tomorrow and my char isn't there.. Also does the game offer complex missions like it did with GTA4? like rescuing mr petrovich from Airport or taking out a full gang at a construction site? Check R*'s support page if you don't believe me - link. There are people who have lost their 20+ lvl character!  Why you do this R*? I seriously wanna kill that douche-bag who is handling the Multiplayer Why release a broken game? Worst MP launch ever. Never thought anything could be worse than Diablo 3 and Sim City launch.
