Zod
GTA 5 has sold-in 29 million copies; more Take-Two financial results here http://www.vg247.com/2013/10/29/gta-5-has-sold-29-million-copies/ “During the fiscal second quarter, we delivered record Non-GAAP results driven by the unprecedented success of Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto V,” said CEO Strauss Zelnick. “The title received stellar reviews, shattered entertainment industry records, and has already sold-in nearly 29 million units to date. The extraordinary success of Grand Theft Auto V illustrates the positive momentum in our business and consumers’ enduring appetite for the highest-quality interactive entertainment.” For the quarter ending September 30, GTA V drove revenue of $1.27 billion for Take-Two, up from $288 million during the same quarter last year. Because of GTA’s success, which exceeded expectations, Take-Two is expecting the fiscal year’s revenue to be higher than $2.2 billion. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said on the financial results call that he credits the ridiculous success of GTA V to its release so late in the console cycle, saying that the large install bases for the Xbox 360 and PS3 made it possible. Zelnick wouldn’t say what the difference is between the sell-in and sell-through (to the consumers) numbers for GTA V, but he did say they expect to sell-in many more copies of the game through the current quarter. Borderlands 2 has shipped about 7.5 million copies in the year since it launched, and the GOTY edition released this quarter helped boost that number. Borderlands 2′s next DLC is called Wattle Gobbler, and is due in November. BioShock Infinite and Civilization V: Brave New World were the other main items that drove revenue last quarter. SyLaRzV
LOL GTA 4 MP was sh*t.GTAO is much much better.. lol yea for free roaming first person i've heard say that, if gta iv mp would have been sh*t why would all the people gear up for gta v mp lol thats funny. GTA Online, even with all its flaws, is superb !! I mean, what else could you possibly want from a game.. Yep its good but not good enough for the long run. Wat else, well how about a menu with servers list so ppl can see which server has more or less players n join accordingly rather than ending up on a 3 players server when trying to join a full lobby for a tdm or a race or watever, or not having to invite n invite to get a full lobby for a tdm, every other game that puts up such an interface for its players they are not fools its done coz its easy for the players. meaNmachine
Did you even play GTA MP? Lot of people still do and it's maximum FUN. He means sh*t compared to GTAO, which is true. I have played both and GTAO is much much better. But still GTAO isn't good enough IMO. I was expecting more. There should have been more variety in missions and game modes. Hope the release the DLC soon. Will buy complete edition later.

quixote_1989
Had a totally crazy online session today. Due to some glitch, I became completely invincible (I'm talking God mode). Bullets, explosions, cars, melee- nothing was causing any damage whatsoever. I took complete advantage of the situation to kick some wholesale a*s (cops, not other players). Was in a 5 star chase for like 25-30 mins. Shot down 10-12 choppers, punched cops to death, lit police cars on fire (likeaboss) etc. etc. Mohit was also there. Unfortunately, he wasn't aware of my 'condition' and in trying to keep up died like 10-12 times

You cannot compare with 5 year old game. For 2008, GTA IV MP was uber fun. It is still fun if you know to mod your game. Absolutely right with the exception of graphics n all, which will keep on improving for every game with time, mp is pretty much the same with awww the enhanced free roaming so these comments of mp was sh*t was this or that was garbage have no meaning at all, i wonder if some ppl missed all the fun then or wat. Talk realistic, hating doesn't prove any point, we all love gta n we all want it to be better.

I played it on 360 for weeks and hated it...GTA 4 as a whole game was complete sh*t. imo..GTA V is better in every department..S.P and Online both are just amazing..... GTAO is really fun and it will get better once Heist DLC is out.. Edited November 7, 2013 by Zodak™
Grievous
At least the AI enemies were fair in GTA4, AI enemies in GTA5 are OP. In GTAO there was a mission in which me and my team had to steal choppers from the roof. I climbed till the top of the roof, the enemies somehow knew I was coming and the shot me . In another mission I had to steal a van from Lost MC . I approached their hideout and I tried sniping them off from a vantage point, they started shooting at me when I simply aimed at them
