The repair guy asked for 300 to check for the fault and replacement would be covered under warranty. I asked hi m to go ahead. So he took 2 minutes and the pc was on.i was so happy , started dreaming about GTA . Then I asked him what the issue was . He said that power connector to GTX 770 was loose. I was surprised to hear that . I asked him that this pc stopped while i was surfing . Made weird sounds through the earphone which were kept on table. There was vibration for a good 5 sec in the whole F***ing CPU. i reset it and it did not want to start up. I even changed the graphics card. still the same result.Even the USB ports had no power How in the hell would you explain all this. He did not say anything . I was a bit hesitant to pay him 300 bucks just for making the plugging the connector. So to make my 20 km to Nehru place worthwhile i bought a Thermal paste and asked him to change that. Its corsair 700 gs ......its not cheap okay!!!!!! well never mind,actually now i'm trying to reinstall gta 5 but now major problem is when i uninstall setup it says "gta 5 is successfully uninstalled" but its actually not!!! when i again run the setup it still gives the option of repair or uninstall........then i tried deleting the files manually and i actually deleted them but still it when i run the setup there are two options :samui: now i don't know how to reinstall it...please help why this just happens with my cpu!!!!! :samui: :samui: even though it is a high end cpu!!! Were u able to run this game earlier? Is ur copy legit? Your download is probably corrupted. Download the retail copy from torrent and replace it or get it from a friend/someone who has it running. Try uninstalling Rockstar Games Social Club from add or remove programs. i already uninstalled rockstar social club from add or remove programs,the interesting thing is (even though gta V is uninstalled) it still shows gta 5 at add or remove programs...and i also tried to remove gta 5 from add or remove but no help!!! Sparrow version *cough* well so far no crashes except for and when i use throwables and then get inside a car and the aim and shoot, then the game crashes, well thats about it specs: q6600 + 4gb ddr2 + 6950 2GB + 1366*768 = very high settings (postFx Ultra, AA x8, dem density sliders at 2 clicks) w/msaa disabled and no advanced gfx oh staph u The fix: Settings - Saving and Startup - Landing Page: On, then restart the game.
