Aftrunner
Thing is though, these missions arent hard because they are well designed. They are hard because half the time your are fighting against controls as much as you are fighting the on screen enemies. Difficulty is always a tough balancing act. Its very easy (and cheap) to make a tough mission/game when the difficulty comes from shitty controls. Or from the AI one shotting you. Or from not giving you enough time to complete goals. etc etc. Any shitty developer can do that. And you will still get that sense of accomplishment after completing it simply because you have been trying for so long. Doesnt mean its a good mission/game or its good design philosophy. So basically, f**k that.
Big Boss
Yeah, those coptor missions were tough because of controls. They could just copy paste JC2 controls when it comes to flying. Even SR3 had better flying controls.
dylanjosh
This is why I love GTA, because it is truly open when it comes to missions. Other open world games use the structure to give side quests and to add time to reach the missions, but the missions themselves are linear. This is one of the few areas Assassin's Creed 1 did brilliantly. You could approach your target in multiple ways based on the information you recover while doing the investigation missions. Give it a shot if you haven't already.

The primary assassination missions in AC I were the best, even better than what we had in ACII,Brohood put together! I used to scout around the target and plan my timing for a long time before I made the move!

Right
The screens look washed out on original size. And I am taking a guess that it will skip PC on launch.
