Could be, thinks Michael Pachter. Grand Theft Auto 5 is in the middle of its most significant promotional push to date, with six new screens launched this week alone, and three more to come. Rockstar had remained relatively quiet since announcing the game with a trailer back in November last year. So does all this activity mean we'll get some solid information on GTA 5's gameplay and release date soon? "I've been consistently wrong in attributing rational behavior to the Rockstar folks," Wedbush Securities Michael Pachter told NowGamer. "The uptick in promotion suggests that the game is close to being finished and that they are ready to announce a release date, but they haven't always behaved rationally in the past- remember the trailer released on November 1, 2011? - so I don't want to ascribe rational behavior this time around." Pachter confirmed that Rockstar is "building up to a release date announcement" in his opnion, and that a release date that falls "pre-Christmas is possible." Given Rockstar's unpredictable nature though, the analyst added that he's "repared to be wrong once again" when it comes to his latest GTA 5 prediction. Take-Two's financial forecasts suggests that the publisher needs to launch GTA 5 by April 2013. dont know how reliable is this source: now gamer. BUT if a trailer is released as its rumored that there will be 3 more screenshots and a trailer then the release this year is possible.
