Avoid online like a plague if you don't have a group. You will just be forcing yourself telling it's fun.
That is not true. GTA online can be reasonably fun even without a group. Most people 'find' groups after playing with random 'strangers' for a while.

I'm not at all into multiplayer, but I had still spent more than 200 hours on GTA online. That, for me, is a huge amount of time.

Dude, you dislike GTAV and that is fine. But stop trying to project it as the 'general opinion'. It isn't.

The general opinion about GTA is always going to be positive despite how bad it is.

The current online state has turned into a giant micro transaction fest and if you can't see it, then it's your problem.

I agree it's been quite a while since I played it. And I have read about how it's being modified more and more to favour shark card sales. Not disputing any of that.

But for somebody who has not yet tried it, trying some of the missions and heists can still be lot of fun, even with strangers. I personally enjoyed doing them and not just because they paid money. I did re-do some of them again and again based on the payout, but the enjoyment factor was there.

Maybe, if he tries it, his opinion will be similar to yours and not mine. That is entirely possible. I'm not assuming he'll love it. All I am saying is that GTAO deserves a try at least.

Apologies. 2X9PC89.png

You have a fair point. I did start as SOLO online and liked some parts of it. Just hate how it turned out over time and not seeing how it'll get better from now.

Absolutely no need for apologies brother. [emoji846]

I do understand your frustration. Even I feel bad when I read (thanks to updates from Zodak) about how it's become lately.

Maybe, if I had been playing it now, I'd be just as bitter as you are.

If I had joined online in the state it is now then I would definitely avoid it, reason being the attitude from players and acceptance of new players is hardly in existence.. The time I joined I was able to grow along with other players so that made my journey enjoyable and the main reason I am still playing the game even now on mostly daily basis putting 650+hrs ..

I definitely feel the need for someone to be along with a new player when they start mainly because the contents would make you wonder what you would want to do...

Joe hates GTAV and Gta online both plus he never tried Online properly.

Gta online started really good but now it's not that fun thanks to Rockstar. Massive popularity of GTA Online made Rockstar real greedy. They are turning it into pay 2 win now. Everything is crazy expensive now.

It's real grind now. Solo players will definitely struggle. You must find a group for gta online now.

Me and funnyadit started it on consoles when it was very well balanced and fun. Making money was easy on ps3.  I was able to buy stuff without grinding missions for hours.  After PC release it started going downhill. Everything became expensive and they started pushing microtransactions real hard.  Now it's not that fun unless you have dedicated group to help you out.

This and it was just fun playing, nothing felt forced on you..There were many contents even then..

Now a days they might even forget to show all the contents they have released but never ever fail to show the SHARK CARD ad screen while loading and even on phone in-game..:bash:

Yes it works. I have done that few times. Steam downloads missing files and turns it into legit version.
