those new screens are very much impossible on the current gen consoles .... either they are from PC version or this game is launch title for X720/PS4 .... :D

Just look at this pic, especially at the quality of AA, no jaggies at all .... which current gen console can render without jaggies ?

What we learnt from GTA V's Business screens

We’ve had leisure. We’ve seen transport. Now it’s time to get down to business with the third batch of Grand Theft Auto V screens released this week.

Here’s what we learnt from Grand Theft Auto V’s "Business" screen shots, released earlier today.

More planes

The light aircraft first seen briefly in the trailer has made another appearance, adding to the jet we saw earlier this week, which was piloted by the middle aged we’ve assumed to be the protagonist. Someone else is clearly at the helm of this plane.

That glistening river

How hot is that river? While it’s a promotional screen, it continues the theory that the country areas in the new Los Santos will look absolutely amazing. I could fly around aimlessly all day if the sun is going to pleasantly glisten off the gentle stream. Then probably jump out and forget which button is parachute.

Helicopter chases are important

A man running from a chopper was a key moment in the debut trailer, and now he looks to have upgraded to a serious set of wheels. But he’s still running from the law, who is out in serious force in at least two police cars as well as the low-flying helicopter. That car doesn’t look too bad either, and suggests vehicle selection will be more realistic than ever.

Is the driver parachuting/running man?

Three batches of screen shots, three subtly placed characters to speculate about. It’s all coming together this morning, however, as the driver of the fleeing car poses a striking resemblance to the tattooed man running in the trailer. Is he also the parachuting guy from the “leisure” screens? It seems likely.

Wait, what’s going on here?

The biggest double take of all the screens, what’s actually happening here? This man appears to be jumping onto a moving transport truck, presumably to steal the soon-to-be hot wheels on the back. But look at the truck’s own wheels, they seem to be bending in unnatural directions. Furthermore, if this guy is stealing a car, he’s either already being pursued, or is a special kind of stupid, doing it right in front of the rozzers.

Surely this is another playable character

Which brings us back to potential playable character number two. It’s long rumoured. We’ve already seen him above, and it looks like he’s back again. Unfortunately his face is just too hidden in the shadows to confirm it’s definitely the same man driving the car above. If you look carefully, it could even be him flying the plane.

Casually sniping a police helicopter

The cops are out in full force today, and someone on our side seems intent on stopping them. Is this another character, perhaps an associate of not-Tommy? Either way, it seems to be an ambitious tactic.

Could it be multiplayer?

Three playable characters seems more of a stretch, but perhaps this is a glimpse of a multiplayer mode. We mulled over the excitement that is The Lost and the Damned’s Chopper vs. Chopper last week. Has it advanced to Chopper vs. Man With Gun?

Seriously who is this guy?

We know this isn’t the Ned Luke voice protagonist we’re expecting to play as in GTA V, but is it the same character? It’s impossible to tell from such a distance, but one could easily convince him or herself that this is the same person and potentially the main character of GTA V. Or perhaps it’s always a different character and Rockstar is toying with us.

Don't forget that Gta used to be a playstation exclusive back in ps2 days...

What are you smokin ? GTA was always multiplatform ... even in the early days except Vice City Stories

The screens look too good to be true...

Maybe the cell can pull it off(it did run gow3 at 1080p), but I don't think xbox can. (it was already staggling in even exclusives like alan wake)

[NO CONSOLE WAR INTENDENT]

God Of War III runs natively at 720p and not 1080p , if the PS3 can , then too does the XBOX , you're talking as if there has been a wide gap between the two. Both the PS3 and 360 exclusives become more polished (visually) as time passes as the devs get to know more about their architecture and there is no issues with Alan Wake running on the XBOX , dude please stop being a pile on !

Don't take me as a fanboy cause I don't have a console and I don't care about which console wins console wars and stuff ...

AFAIK gta was not on xbox in the earlier days (only on ps2 and pc)... Well I might be wrong as well.

Personally I don't even care if the graphics are the same as iv's... That is, if they give us the whole san andreas again.

And with R* firing up old sa site again, I'd say we might have a pretty good chance.

Btw, you know what the screens remind me of? NFS HP "race or chase" trailer
