Heaven Angel Posted November 11, 2012 Report Share Posted November 11, 2012 Reason why GTAV isn't coming out on the PC at the same time is simple.All the focus needs to be drawn on the consoles,if the PC version would come out in the same time, the marketing strategy would bump heads " I know,they pirate the console versions too but the main profit is usually made from the Xbox & PS " + the PC version needs more time to be polished and optimized (since it features a hell lot more settings and improved visuals ) and we can't do that along the consoles in the same time-frame IF you want the game to be launched on consoles in spring and you don't want to wait until the end of 2k13 to be launched on all platforms. PC only in oct/nov 2k13 (if no unpredictable delays) If some polishing/optimizing and other related problems show up = it might be delayed until feb/march 2k14 ( but that's like the worst case scenario ) Regarding map: The map is pretty HUGE and it will take players a while to get bored and want something new,but that space could be expanded with something else later on Regarding character switching: Don't worry about the switching part It will be pretty awesome,it won't feel like you are taken out of the " main plot/idea " , it's just from another perspective that will intersect with " the other you " . That would be really convienient , with the map available on the pad at all times and such and adding touch screen functions would work really well . Also being able to take gta v with u to other rooms when your'e not in front of the tv is an added bouns.
