RDR was smaller in scale and very less populated. This will put lot of pressure on the two consoles. They should have aimed for the next gen hardware. But yeah they would get more sales right now with a combined install base of over a 100 million consoles. Just hope the PS3 version is up to the mark :/

Someone on YouTube commented that if we view the second trailer from 0:32 onwards, with sound from the first trailer(0:06) onwards, then it(the sound) kinda fits in. I was feeling bored, so made a new video with the sound inserted into the second trailer, as suggested, and it does feel surprisingly natural. Here is the video:

GTA 5: PC version merely “up for consideration” says Rockstar’s Dan Houser

The prospects of a PC version of GTA 5 appear to be in a terrifying state of flux. After seeming to be a dead cert earlier this year, doubts emerged when the game’s posters confirmed only a console release. Now asked directly about a PC version by IGN, Rockstar’s Dan Houser would no more commit to that platform than he would Wii U.

A potential PC version is only “up for consideration,” he said. “That’s all I can give you. The main thing is we are not… we are a third-party publisher. We’re not Nintendo, we’re not Sony, we’re not Microsoft. We love all of them in different ways. But we can do what we want wherever there’s the appropriate business opportunity and chance to find a market.”

So, uh, does that mean there’s an appropriate business opportunity on PC, then? Houser didn’t say. He did however say that the current geriatric generation of creaking console hardware is ample enough to see out their creative intentions.

“Some other people talk about the limitations of the [current] hardware. We don’t feel there are that many limitations. We feel we can do some very impressive stuff and do it for a large audience. This felt like the way… There’ll be a much larger audience on PS3 than there will be on PS4.”

Erp. What worrying words. Here’s hoping Houser’s just being cagey.

I read that interview some days back, and they are just trying to twist the words for projecting a bad chance of a PC version. He said it's up for consideration, then why label it as only "up for consideration"? What else could he answer anyway if they are going to make a PC version eventually?

PC version rumour :

Another day, another bit of – unconfirmed – information about the PC version of GTA V. Although Rockstar has not announced anything yet about the GTA V PC, EB Games has this particular version available for pre-order.

Spotted by Reddit’s user ‘Willomo’, the following image proves that there might be something going on in the background. That, or EB Games did not get the memo with GTA V’s official announcement.

In other news, GTA V’s PC petition has 26K supporters and needs 74K more to achieve its goal.

Naturally, this image does not confirm the existence of a PC version – as Rockstar has not revealed anything yet – so take it with a grain of salt, even though we expect to see the game hitting the PC at a later date.

Enjoy and we’ll be sure to keep you up to date with all the latest news and rumors about GTA V PC.

The PC version is in development. My friend at Rockstar is working on it. He's a graphics programmer and he says it looks much better than the console versions. He mentioned he had to dumb down certain particle effects for the consoles which work just fine on the PC. It's not going to release alongside the console versions though.

Also, he said this time the lead development platform is the PS3. They wanted to avoid the dev issues and delays they faced due to the PS3 version for GTA 4.
