nash Posted October 25, 2011 Report Share Posted October 25, 2011 Even though this is primarily a console based community, there are quite a few people getting BF3 for the PC I thought it would make sense to have a thread where we could help each other out with some of the game's issues. Posting it in the BF3 thread will just clutter things up. I'll start with some of the issues I had and the methods I used to solve them. 1) Stuttering Un-installed new recommended drivers and went back to the beta ones Nvidia has released during the beta. 2) Couldn't update game through Origin Right clicked on the game and selected Repair Install. This kickstarted the update after which the game worked just fine. So far the game's working fine for me but if it's giving you problems, this would be the place to try and unfk your issues. El Tigre Chino Posted October 27, 2011 Report Share Posted October 27, 2011 It'll still take me over an hour to download it. @Playstation: The speed Origin displays is more like the disc write speed than download speed. Apparently the packets transferred are compressed to almost 50% and decompresses on the drive, Origin displays the amount of uncompressed per sec written to the drive. Still as awesome I guess.
