I think both maps are good, plus with only 6 players in such a big map there is a lesser chance of BF'ng, same goes with Molten Ruins, it's open in some areas and really cramped up in some, also with the kind of comeback you guys had yesterday, winning both your matches, anything can happen !!! Molten ruins supports a lot of camping, but city of brass has a lot of areas where you can fall down uselessly TBH i feel ragur is playing on par with Newuxtreme, Ragur's team won all the games from Group 1, even beating New in some of the 1 on 1 fights, so it will be a a real test for both groups !!! I was watching some 2v2v2 matches on youtube and was wondering about some of the possibilities. Eg: If Team1,2,3 are playing three rounds today. assume team1 won the first two rounds. team 2 and team 3 managed to get 2nd position in 1st round and 2nd round respectively. Now in the final match if Team1 is winning comfortably and if team 2 has a lead of 2/3 kills .. they can actually run into team1 and die intentionally to finish the match so that they can finish second in the last round. Sa1nT_SoLd1eR Posted November 24, 2011 Report Share Posted November 24, 2011 It is possible and that is why I am taking so much pain in making the videos for every match and will see to it that something like this doesn't happen, will pay special attention to the teams who barely make it, so that no such scenario arises, you can be rest assured of that. And that's why i asked Raj to see for yourself in the videos where medal kickbacks or boosters were used, cos i didn't come across any while i was recording ( i might have missed ), all matches were played in good spirits yesterday ( except the one where Tazu kept screaming in the background that this won't count and what not and distracting me in the middle of the match, calling me up to make decisions of backing out while I am playing the F**ng match) the only F**K Up was from Tazu's side, but he has had enough of ranting about it, so let's chill and look forward to today's matches !! Also Taz you better be there for your match, let's not encourage this replacement thing anymore, next time around keep atleast 5 to 6 people in reserve even if it means reducing down the size of different groups, and people who have been regular in previous toruney's give preference over those who weren't regular, cos those guys are dependable and have earned their place to be in the tournament. newuxtreme Posted November 24, 2011 Report Share Posted November 24, 2011 How can you chuck out a player who had registered to take part in the tournament just because he is not a pro....would you be happy if you were thrown out of fifa or anyother game just because you are not good enough.i take part in tournaments to have fun and learn from pros and you cant deprive someone of that opportunity ..they lost the first and second game by a margin of one or 2 points... now so you cant say they were not competitive.roshan was placed in newus group because he is the best player here and he can win despite his partners lack of experience and teams will be balanced. i came last in the first fifa tourney i took part in ivg but i learned from those matches and finished the second tourney in midtable...it was all possible because they gave a noob like me a chance to learn.i just feel this move is BS. you have the right to decide whichever map you want because you are the organizer.i can only give you suggestion..but dont tell me molten ruins supports blindfiring more than city of brass. use of Power weapons really unbalances the game....it takes away the skills involved...u just need to be lucky to spawn nearby it.Thats why i am against it.Then again it is up to you to decide. Taz, I understand it could get difficult to organize and handle things at times. But there were certain things which you could have done right. But you didn't bother to do so. - How in the world did you manage to play on wrong map when you only decided the maps? Why did you bother to continue with the match? Great you gave an option of rematch but why did you continue in the first place? Did you guys not quit previously when someone was using kickback? - Why power weapons like RPG, T-Bolt, Shotgun are allowed? Are they not one shot kills? They are worse than kickbacks. To use a kickback you at least need to do some kills and earn some medals. - Newu is awesome. Probably best among us and definitely takes every gunfight seriously. We all know this. But why was he allowed to change his teammate on second day? Why was he allowed to kick his teammate (no offence Roshan) all by himself, pick a teammate and start the match? Best of all, you came whining in chat room and telling them they are wasting time and scores won't count. That's when we got to know about this change. But after a few mins, you changed your mind for reasons best known to you. Awesome! You said in chat that he wanted to change his teammate because Roshan is level 1. So just because he wanted to do so, should it be allowed? Is this justified? No offence to anyone, but people with level higher than Roshan have scores similar to Roshan. How about I or any other person cribs and decides to change teammate (Tarun, I don't mean it)? Sounds ridiculous, right? And definitely this is not the point of the tournament. I thought we are just trying to have some good matches in an organized way, instead of regular matchmaking. The first match of Group 2 is the best I ever played in UC3 so far. The point is that the f**k ups that have happened in this tourney so far could have been easily avoided by taking simple decisions. Agreed you didn't had much time and now we all can see its result. Let's just hope we don't repeat such things in future tournaments. Firstly, Taz had no sole power of making decisions. Stop blaming him. Wtf is up with taz taz taz? It's easy for you guys to read up on a simple topic which has been created, organized, detailed properly by him and at the end crib about things going wrong. One of you wasn't even going to be able to participate in the tourney, but at the last minute entered as a substitute, and got lucky with another substitute. Now your team is by far the strongest, whereas if you had registered earlier there would have been no way you two would have been allowed to be teammates. Without being subjected to earlier judgings and conditions you were allowed in and already have an advantage. Secondly, how can a person/player , any player enter into a tournament (sure it's for fun), with a competitive scenario, specially when you're going to be having a team and teammates who are going to be dependent on you, without having prior experience of the games. My teammate was downloading the online pass an hour before our match. You guys and your partners are both aiming as well as blind-firing experts and know the map inside out. Also this is not PHEEPHA. It doesn't matter if you were a n00b playing the game because you weren't ruining anyone else chances but your own. Thereby no one chucks you out without having prior experience. Thirdly, Power Weapons rant. Are you guys f**king serious? Bhenchod puri Ramayan khatam ho gai aur ab power weapons enable/disable ki baat kar rahe ho. There have been 12 matches done already with power weapons on, everyone plays with power weapons and a lot more imbalanacing factors in Matchmaking why crib about only 1 now. This is not 'Tazu' s fault it's completely YOURS. If you did or did not want the PW you should have been clear about it right in the beginning when the rules were made. But one of you didn't have any problems earlier and the other was not part of the tourney at the time. Fourthly, Balancing New's team. I wouldn't bring this up but since this has become such a big topic of argument let's discuss this right now. Forgive my cockiness but I have complete faith in myself for this or ANY tournament. Every match consistently I have been going 15-17 kills solo out of 20. Yesterday there was a custom 1v2v3 match with our own IVGians where the score went 23-22-9 out of which I was 22 all by myself. The winning team was Taz & Drgp. Other participants were SA,Miza my current partner and 1 more in the 3rd team. Bluepen I think. I am more than capable and happy being the lone wolf. If you guys have such a problem with my partner/teammate being changed PLEASE make me the lone wolf in the rest of the games. No tension for me, apparently more fair to you. Obviously it was understood that I would carry another player, and roshan was decided, but as it was later found out & discussed it was completely unfair for me. I chose another player so that I was still carrying another teammate and it made it more competitive for myself and other teams to get kills on my team. My current partner is only level 17 which is lower than EVERYONE else playing this tournament. But I'm glad he knows the maps and weapon usage at least and can work comfortably with him. Also let's not say that I'm taking things too seriously, because the sole reason you guys are pointing such stuff out and making it public is because you guys want to win this too.
