hum suna hai metro ka graphics are really good..best this gen..that is what guys at neogaf was posting...i think one needs very high end pc also for it.

Graphics are good, not the best. I think BattleField 4 will give it a run for its money now but one of the prettiest looking games to grace PC's and compared to METRO 2033 the game is stabler and better optimised.

Game-play is also strong apart from the weird stealth system of you need to be in the light to be detected, again compared to the older METRO iteration. The setting is far exceeding most of the AAA titles that come out. One of the few games that shows rather than tells you about the world.

cant believe after spending 23k on just CPU-MBO and Ram i am still not in high end category in these parts.

Your processor and motherboard and pretty good, in-fact I don't see you changing them for the next ~3 -->4 years unless some mishap befalls the system.

Just need a good graphic card, the R9-280X / GTX760 2GB is what I would place my monies on.

If you are going to chase a high-end tag in the PC arena, even spending ~2,00,000/- on just the dabba alone will not net you the bragging rights but if you learn max-minimising with your RIG you will have a much better time and obviously every multi-platform title will look better.

What is the point of holding out so long or do you have something up your sleeves that rather not be revealed?

Stick to a 4GB stick as far as possible so that you can set-up dual-channel for these two, if and when you upgrade RAM next look at 8GB x2.

Avoid mixing of RAM modules (frequency, size and brand-wise).

Hope this helps, Cheerio!

Also, I suggest you post any further queries in Techzone, we are derailing this thread.

as for the reason holding on so long..nothing tbh. Just that waiting would be give me cheaper and better gfx option if i can wait for another year.

Honestly, get one now or by Christmas because if you keep waiting then it will turn into a never ending wait-game.

bro i think only you are the one who knew all that and felt nothing.. everyone else pretty much cried at the opening scene.. it is easily one of the best opening scenes ever..

:chair: why would you reveal 'spoiler'ed part of Spindoctor's post? :bash:

i enjoyed the game right from chap 1.. all chaps were epic fun.. you just gotta be stealthy.. that's the way this game is meant to be played.. my playthrough was practically a 0 kill playthrough (only killed in forced combat sections)..

gunplay is clunky for a purpose :P they don't want you to shoot your way through the game :) uncharted ki tarah mat khelo toh maza aayega..

It's quite impossible to not kill people in the forced combat sections, and if they didn't want us to shoot our way through, they really should've found ways to deal with those sections without forcing us into combat. I love the game, but these would've made the game better imo.

What's so good about the story? It's entirely predictable and uses all the tropes of the genre.

I think the problem is that you know too much about the game before you actually start to play it. It's a story of these 2 people on a journey and their bonding along the way and that's really it. All the big moments are telegraphed along the way.

I think the trailers and gameplay videos before launch are kinda what spoil some of these things for us. Like, you already know it'll be a story of these Joel and Ellie, so you know something's gonna happen to the others around them. They do show the emotion in the trailers too, so you know it's gonna get sentimental between the two. The way they actually protrayed these emotions through the facial animations and voice-acting is :majesty: though

Cried? :roflroll:

Why is there such a low standard for storytelling in games. Also you might want to edit your post (my spoiler got untagged).

It's a console game dude

This guy only digs Metro:Last Light on ultra PC resolution

1. Haven't played Metro.

2. There are good games on consoles. TLOU is not one of them.

3. On a scale of 1 to 10 why is your butthurt level at 734?

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013/11/14/uncharted-on-ps4-the-last-of-us-left-behind-dlc-revealed/

The Last of Us: Left Behind is Naughty Dog’s first ever single-player DLC. Bruce, Neil, and the rest of the team are getting close to wrapping work on this new campaign, which will meet the quality and gameplay what you’ve come to expect with The Last of Us, along with a few surprises.

She’s back! Ashley Johnson reprises her role as Ellie in The Last of Us: Left Behind single-player DLC. Left Behind takes place while Ellie is attending a military boarding school in the Boston quarantine zone, prior to meeting Joel and the events in the main campaign of The Last of Us.
In just a few short months since the release of The Last of Us, you have made it clear that Ellie has become one of your favorite characters in games. Today, we’re excited to confirm that you play as Ellie throughout the entirety of Left Behind.
Joining Ellie on this new adventure is Riley, her best friend and also a mentor of sorts at the military boarding school. Just as The Last of Us focused on the bond between Ellie and Joel, Left Behind explores the bond between Ellie and Riley through a series of events that will forever change both of their lives.
Bringing Riley to life through our performance capture process is the talented Yaani King, who we had the pleasure of working with on the DLC.
If you just can’t wait until the DLC drops to get more of The Last of Us, go out immediately and read the Dark Horse comic series, The Last of Us: American Dreams – which is conveniently available in the recently released paperback collection. I cannot recommend this series enough and it’s even more relevant now, as in the comic you will learn more about how Ellie and Riley first became friends, giving you even more insight into Ellie’s story in The Last of Us universe. And it’s also just plain great!

The Last of Us: Left Behind will be releasing in early 2014 – we will announce a specific date as soon as we iron out all the details. The awesome news is that Left Behind is included in the The Last of Us Season Pass, which also includes a ton of multiplayer DLC, and is the best deal you can get for all the DLC content we’ve planned to release – over 75% worth of savings compared to buying all the DLC separately. If you’re only interested in the single-player DLC, you can pre-order it starting November 19 on the PlayStation Store for $14.99.
