ScrewyAurum Posted January 1, 2012 Report Share Posted January 1, 2012 Markus Persson, the man behind Minecraft, recently tweeted that a sequel to Minicraft is currently in development. Persson recently stepped down as lead developer of Minecraft. It's unlikely that he is working on the Minicraft sequel considering how vocal he was about wanting to work on something new. He's also has his other game scrolls that he is working on, as well. No word on release, platform, or anything really. Persson tweeted that MiniTale is the new title and you can check out the awesome official websites that are definitely not "under construction" here and here.
