GS, looks like you've dealt with a bunch of crazy stuff in your life!

BTW, one of the scariest experiences in my life was the first time I experienced Sleep Paralysis. I didn't know what it was and I was so sure something supernatural was happening.

holy sh*t dude.. this has happened to me soo many times its not even funny. for th few seconds or mins i used to try so dam hard to move.. n at some point it started happening really regularly like almost every nite.. i used to get so pissed.. but later i thot dunno who th fuk is messing with me so fk it.. and just used to relax and tried to go bak to sleep wenever it hapnd. :fear:

overtime it stopped. :panic:

cz of u, i no wt it is. apparently, thre's only a name and classification, no solid explanation..

The worst part about the Sleep Paralysis experience is the strange "presence" that you feel in the room. It's just out of sight but you know something is there watching you. That's what really creeped me out the first time. Also, the more I researched on the subject the easier it was for me to experience lucid dreams (dreams which you can control). It doesn't happen too often but when it does, you will know. It's also the precursor to Out of Body Experiences. It did happen to me a few times but not completely. It happens to me probably because of my very irregular sleeping patterns.

Still, much of this is unexplained and it's hard to believe there is a scientific explanation for all this. It has to be more than that.

Very interesting subject though.

I have had my own share of xps with lucid dreams :wallbash: and i tell you, they are the best method to counter any nightmare/bad dream u get....the method i simply employ is to not to get up completely from sleep and break the flow......but just close my eyes and 'dive' into the same world again.....

i dont know.....but this is how i do it

However many times I end up "waking up" inside the dream. Y'know when you feel like you've woken up and start doing you daily routine like brushing your teeth or going to the bathroom but in fact you're actually still dreaming. It usually happens on days when I am the most stressed out. Still lucid dreams can be so much fun when you are totally in control, it really sucks when the alarm goes off or the doorbell rings causing you to wake up. I wake up cursing... LOL.

I believe oob is when u can see yourself from a third person perspective :fear: someone correct me if i am wrong

Yes that's correct for the most part. It's a phenomenon where you feel like you (or technically your soul) has left your body. In some cases you can see yourself sleeping (creepy). However, I have only gotten to the point where I find myself struggling to pull myself out of my body, I know it sounds strange but it has happened to me multiple times and believe me, at those times I actually know what's going on.

Another type of OOBE is Astral Projection. It's a far more advanced stage and in those cases people have reported to be flying freely all over the world. They can also see and interact with others who are astral projecting. There is a silver umbilical-cord-like thing that connects each person to their respective body. I know it all sounds very far fetched but there is far too much evidence of it.

Now how can all this not be super-natural?

yes.....thts true......just when u are in total control and someone wakes u up.......u feel like punching/cracking the device......somehow its very satisfying being in a lucid dream :wallbash:
