D33P@K Posted September 17, 2008 Report Share Posted September 17, 2008 this is the first time ever i called MS customer cause my modded 360 died giving me a E74 error i called them on monday... never mentioned that it is a E74 error...told them that it is a RROD issue... the lady agreed to replace my console since it is a technical issue... so got my console replaced today, the guy from redington did not even check if the console was ever opened.... I got it replaced .. a week later - The DVD Drive stopped working - So I got it replaced again , I switched on the XBOX just as the guy left and that one had the same problem with teh DVD Drive ! 3 consoles in a day . DarthVader Posted October 3, 2008 Report Share Posted October 3, 2008 ^^ most of the times the replacement guys are nuts.i.e. they dont know how to open the faceplate and check the console.if you live in a place where MS is no where near you have a 100% chance of replacing a moddded console ..done that twice for a friend. but case is different in US.they took my console (legit one) and i got a replacement after a week. Listen to this - My console died.. about 3 months after I bought it .. (End of 2006) .. I wanna call cust care and get mine replaced as i am soon running out of 1 year warranty. But the cust care number i get in the M$ site is only for US.
