^^ that might be a little helpful but still having to watch a dirty console, which u can do nothing about, every time u play coz somebody in microsoft's hardware department overlooked something, sucks.

 

anyway, atleast they're replacing the consoles for free. :dance:

Hey, just spoke to a MS lady, very sweet woman, offered to replace my second console i bought after she understood the loss of 10K from m pocket (ouch!)...she said one time deal cause the warranty voids upon purchase of second hand console. Still hasnt turned up yet, will update when it gets replaced.

herez d summary of my xperience so far:

 

Call - 1: Made first time for replacement

'Vidhi' chicky picks up the fone, fakes the phoren accent, asks me hw r u feelin 2day, i tell her nt gud, she says i'll tc of that (my hopes rise damn fast! :) ), she asks me the stupid self diagnostic questions, i say "did all that", then she says ur console will b replaced in 5 working days n gives me an xchange request no!

 

Kindly note that it tuk me 40 minz to get 2 this female coz d lines were busy! as if all consoles xpired the same day as mine! :angry:

 

Call - 2: Second follow-up after 7 days passed

'vidhi' chicky tells me to wait for a couple more days as 'all couriers are getting delayed to mumbai due to attacks!'. Beech mein call disconnects, she does nt call bak also! :O She gives me Chennai Service station no whr i can follow up for delivery status (i then offer her an ice-cream bt she politely turns it down :wacko: )

 

Call - 3: After 12 days passed

'priyanka' sweet chicky picks up fone, m damn pissed off, she calms me wid sugary accent, then GENERATES ANOTHER XCHANGE ORDER REQUEST after a 30 min lousy conversation! :D

 

Call - 4: To Service station chicky

Some "Vishnu Priya" chicky picks up fone (no is 044 30287938 btw), i tell her xchange order request no n ask her d status, she says 'ur request is nt ACTIVATED by MS guyz, i can see only the no, bt no details, plz call up MS helpline for details!' :nerves: :censored3:

 

Call - 5: M steaming n call up XBOX helpline

'priyanka' chicky picks up d fone, says not 2 worry, i will tc of u (u better or else i wud! ), assures me that she will follow up wid service station and let me kno status in 2 days (2day is the 2nd day!). Ab i dunno wht to do! (i asked her location bt she refused, wanted 2 go RRoD her myself! :bash: )

 

Can ny1 tell me WTF to do? :cry5:

dude, my consolez alrdy scrooed, no further scope left :D

 

priyanka n vidhi r 2 sugary babes who will make sure u loose ur main focus of discussion & concentrate on makin u wait endlessly till doomsday for ur console ..... u have 2 scroo ur own console to talk 2 them though :nerves:

priyanka wakes you up on the phone.. sure does make you loose your focus and get OT....if it's the same priyanka i talked to..

but damn, she couldn't open a screenshot i sent her ( regarding 512mb free for core users), so babe without brains..

Nemesis I dont know what the technical term is but you are pretty f**ked. You have fallen into what I think is often reffered to as the call center blackhole.

 

hmmm, so hw do i deal wid these 'holes'? :wink5: u can guide me in case u'v been fuked be4!

yes must b the same one, guess its mostly these 2 bimbettes handling the help-fkin-line! if she had brains, we wud never hv 2 repeat our info again n again 3 times over the same conversation :)

I called her thrice, she asked me to repeat the same ( take a screenshot of me not getting through), and then the last time, i just gave up..

 

but I know you can't,, mine was just a free 512 drive, your's is the console..

 

acc to me, now way but to call them up every frekin day and remind them, eventually they'll get fed up and help you out. maybe other guys would have a better solution... lets see..

Talk to a manager. They have to get a supervisor to speak with you if you insist. So insist. Dont go repeating the whole scenario to the next girl that picks up the phone because then you WILL get sidetracked and end up going nowhere again, just tell them you will only speak to a manager. Qoute the referance number that you were given at the most. Also tell them (the manager) point blank that you want to log a complaint regarding this.

 

In short kick up a storm. You dont have to shout or abuse to make your displeasure felt. Just make sure you actually speak to someone higher up the foodchain.

 

Oh and get the manager's name and get him to call you a back after 24 hours so he can confim with you if the situation has progressed.

 

Might still not help but worth a shot.

hope so man, console died the same day i gt my copy of GoW 2! beat that!! :ko2: frustration is reaching the hilt!
