@Nemesis!!! - You sure were lucky at the same time to have gals picking up your call everytime :)

 

I recently called up and am sure this dude was not Indian, if he was i pity his job. His accent was so horrible i could only distinctly make out it was english.

Talk to a manager. They have to get a supervisor to speak with you if you insist. So insist. Dont go repeating the whole scenario to the next girl that picks up the phone because then you WILL get sidetracked and end up going nowhere again, just tell them you will only speak to a manager. Qoute the referance number that you were given at the most. Also tell them (the manager) point blank that you want to log a complaint regarding this.

 

In short kick up a storm. You dont have to shout or abuse to make your displeasure felt. Just make sure you actually speak to someone higher up the foodchain.

 

Oh and get the manager's name and get him to call you a back after 24 hours so he can confim with you if the situation has progressed.

 

Might still not help but worth a shot.

 

 

I tried the same, ( the usual route when stuck in call-centre muddle) they didn't had any higher authority whom I could speak with.,,

MAN I talked to him too !!!

does M$ have only 3-4 call centre guys for india ???

 

I just couldn't get even my name through to him, and hung up wanting to record this convo and post it somewhere where MS notices...

you just can't get what he is saying, and neither can he.

 

my 4 year old bro speaks more clearly.

 

and he's not indian.. some asian guy..

he he, it doesn't matter after point of no return of frustration.....guess thr helpline itself needs help! :doh:

till date i have called xbox support twice and both the times i had good experience. the first time i called i spoke to a Chinese lady as my call landed in china call center and i had a little problem understanding her but she patiently helped me out. the second time i called the called in the Indian call center and another lady picked and she also helped me patiently with all my queries.

Lucky u! d females r pretty patient with talkin no doubt! I called up d service stn in chennai again, bt d female has no clue on the xchange order request no. God knwz when dis nitemare will end, truely painful!

My exp was good. I have called them day bfore yesterday saying that my console RROD'ed.. they asked me some usual details. Thn asked me to send the buying details as it is showing out of warranty in their Database. I gave them that info and with in a day they called me and told that my console will be replaced by nxt friday. No Hassles....

 

very nice experience.

both my replacement consoles arrived within 24hrs when i was in Mumbai. hell... the first replacement had taken 3 hrs D=. had called in at 3 and got the replacement at around 5:50-6 pm the same day. So the customer support has been excellent. The only ones that usually have to wait abnormally long are those that own Elites in Mumbai.... i guess its due to them not being that common...
