Ne0
have you played bioshock?have you played HAZE? then how do u know On paper, looking at the trailers, looking at previews, reading at game sites etc....of course its a prediction/speculation. Haze may be a good game, but I doubt if it'll be anything like Bioshock. Bioshock looks absolutely brilliant, something in the leagues of half-life. Haze is, you know, a good FPS, maybe something like a Halo ! Ok, its morning 5 here, been up the whole night, tata.... lets discuss tmrw !
MarketTantrik
Bioshock has been riding on a hype train for so long that its hard to imagine any other game breaking the hold that Bioshock has on the gaming world. But now with the stellar reviews from virtually every rag, website, and blog, there is very little chance that any game can overhaul Bioshock's gravy train. KnackChap
new preview up at ign, awesome read http://ps3.ign.com/articles/814/814150p1.html Ultimately though, there's no denying Haze is shaping up to be something special. Not only do both contrasting halves of the game hold up well on their own, the four-player co-op mode is instantly gratifying - it feels great to be backed up by a squad of people, rather than AI-controlled bots. Free Radical has a long history of creating great shooters and it looks like Haze could even go one step further than the developer's previous titles. KnackChap
DEMO COMING chatting with Free Radical's David Doak earlier today, 1UP learned that the developer aims to have a demo available on PSN before the game's release. According to Doak, they're still not sure if it'll be a single-player or multiplayer demo, but the intention is definitely to have something for people to check out before Haze hits PS3 in November. Separately, Free Radical will offer a beta test of the game this fall. Whether this beta will be limited or in wide release isn't yet known. KnackChap
Ubisoft's Rob Yescombe scoops GamePro on some interesting Haze developments including the ability to play the entire game with a single gun, the Nectar effect, and online multiplayer support of up to 24 players Haze launching November 19 on PS3 "With Haze, we are giving people the opportunity to play the entire game with one weapon of choice," said Yescombe in an interview with GamePro (full transcript here). "This is only really possible because we have an extremely intelligent and adaptive A.I." He added, "The main weapon isn't a gun. It is the use of Nectar." Nectar is in-game pixie dust that enhances a player's abilities, although it can have devastating effects when used in excess. For example, users could visibly become incapable of distinguishing friend from foe due to an "overdose." Yescombe also divulged that the game will feature 4-player co-op, online multiplayer support of up to 24 players, and the ability to alter the single player storyline when playing in multiplayer mode and vice versa. "Events that occur in the multi-player game will change your perception of things that happen to you in the campaign mode and vice versa," Yescombe said. "It's almost like watching the deleted scenes on a DVD." Despite an influx of several triple-A games this fall, Ubisoft still has high hopes for the game. "We want people to know that Haze will not be the standard FPS. It's going to blow some minds."

KnackChap
UBISOFT : HAZE PS3 EXCLUSIVE,BOTH PC AND XBOX 360 VERSION CANNED Ubisoft has told GameSpot that First Radical's sci-fi first-person shooter Haze is now being planned solely for Sony's PlayStation 3 platform. Originally, Haze was slated as a multiplatform release for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 in spring, but back in May Ubisoft announced that the PS3 had become the "lead platform" for the title, which would be released in November on the PS3-only, although "no exclusivity for any platform has been officially announced." Today, Ubisoft said that currently no other versions in development, and although it was still leaving the door open in the future for "new partnerships," currently the game is indeed only planned for the PS3. A spokesperson said, "The official statement on PC and Xbox 360 is that these platforms are not confirmed." The Web sites of Free Radical, the Official Haze site, and Ubisoft site, all now only list the PS3 version of the game. http://uk.gamespot.com/news/6177964.html?a...estnews;title;

KnackChap
Haze Goes Gold Haze, Ubi's new shooter based on the Unreal 3.0 engine, is coming, and coming soon, on PlayStation 3. Ubi have been telling European media outlets that the game has been released to production and will be available on PS3 first as promised. That's also as in, not on PC or X360. As in it was going to be on those but we must now only count on the PS3 version. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- never knew this game was on unreal engine
