Angad.
Hi all, Wanted to know if there has been any changes in the courier policies etc.???? I mean, earlier I just used to go to the courier guy, he used to ask whats inside, i used to tell dvd, he would book the bill and send the package. But now: I went to courier a game today....went to First Flight first, the asked me what was inside, I said a DVD, they said you would need to provide the invoice as well as a cover letter for this. I told them it was a blank writable disc, so ho can i give you the invoice for a blank disc? That idiot said "You must have bought it from somewhere, so give that bill" ..who gives a bill with a blank writable dvd??? Then I went to DHL, the guy there tells me he will open the package and see it....I asked who will pack it back then....he says you would need to do it !! Have the courier policies changed?????? BlueDart DHL are always particular about packages. At FirstFlight, maybe you encountered some by-the-book kind of guy. Try with DTDC.
Big Boss
Use DTDC. First Flight sucks, and that Bluedart guy was trolling I guess.

abhi90
Happens here too, the last time I had to ship a game via BD, I went, and they wanted my id-proof, and then opened the packing and saw the contents and then they packed it themselves. But still, 20 mins for a goddamn courier

sameuun
FF guy always ask me not to put a tape on the package of disc, if any of the officer wants to see, he will open for sure and then put it back as it is. he assures me no chances of theft he even ask me to give some ID,
Jigsaw
I've had a parcel containing a game disc "opened and tampered" for sure once with DTDC. They claimed it never happened but when the buyer showed me pics of claw marks that would obviously indicate a pocket-knife cutting through the bubble-wrap and incising the box plastic, it's obvious random checking happens. aRch-0n
Fedex is awesome if you want to send something that's valuable, it doesn't hurt to get the premium service and give yourself some relief apart from the DTDC is pretty good, never had any problems with their service. First Flights tracking service is a bitch and they are damn slow
