I like how the new weight system affects power recharge times. Since I'm playing as a Vanguard, I usually just run with the shotgun and occasionally, a heavy pistol as well. Allows me to deploy Charge and Shockwave frequently enough to make a huge difference in firefights.

Always start with Adept. Bring in one Assault Rifle to battle, so that my power recharge is at 200%.

 

Have the level 3 accuracy mod, so head-shots when i need to use bullets. though i get through most battles without having to use any bullets.

 

 

Am level 48 right now (brought in a level 30 Shepard). And most battles are very easy. Singularity+warp+shockwave.

 

Always take along someone with overload to bring down atlas/ centurion/ marauder shields before i warp them to hell.

A fully tricked out Adept is incredibly powerful, but nothing beats the Vanguard for sheer fun factor. The ability to close large gaps within a second and blow 2-3 enemies away with each charge followed by a shotgun volley is incredibly satisfying.

Is there any way to get my galactic readiness higher other than grinding it out in the dogshit multiplayer?

 

EDIT LOL so the swear filter doesnt edit out dogshit but edits sh*t? :P

^^ will refer that in my second playthru, for the first one, I'm gonna just scan the sh1t out of every planet out there and complete whatever side missions i get....if i still don't get the good ending .... well *bleep* you bioware :loser:

I don't take any weapons on n7 missions pull plus charge insta kill on none shielded/armored enemies and to take down the defenses j just use squad abities or one shockwave charge combo if it's a tech shield or pull charge for biotic shields

There appears to be a time element to the missions. If you ignore completing certain missions for too long, the missions get closed with negative consequences.

 

Make sure you complete the "Priority" missions asap.

no that's just with certain side missions actually if you complete a priority mission before wraping up certain side missions you pick up they will be the ones lost not the priority missions

But on a serious note, whats your problem? The MP is very entertaining. Yes, it's essentially Gears' Horde mode, but the powers add a nice twist.

 

Yea it's good bu it's just not as challenging as te game it's trying to emulate and also it's an unnecessary option to a game that doesn't need it... 6 months from now it's dead and then all you can do is either go through a coop mp alone beg a friend to help you or do it the way it was meant to be in singleplayer

thats true.mp is for after game fun.it wil be deserted once all ppl r done with sp

How do I decide which companion is better for which missions ? I'm a solider does it matter if i take all soldiers with me ? Also how can i assign a particular weapon to a companion the 2 slots are always empty for companiions

If you are playing on normalnit hardly matters.. The best way to decide whom to take is read abou the mission and anticipate who you will be facing if it's techs and soldiers like cerberus then a someone like edi and garrus are perfect as they have incinerate and overload concussive shot and such

 

against tech shields rapid fire weapons incinerate overload distruptor ammo and such are useful

against armor grenades incinerate proximity mine warp carnage incindery ammo and such are useful

against biotic barriers any biotic power are useful although warp is the most effective

 

You can only assign the weapons that the class your squadmate is can carry like a tech can only carry pistols and machine pistols and so on
