zen
Of all the stupid things gaming communities have done, this one is right up there. Petition for changing the ending.. for gods sakes... You know what? Bioware should change the ending, then release the new ending as overpriced DLC. Troll those suckers. Well it atleast lead to a charity getting over 30,00 dollars. spindoctor
so are you trying to say Me3 is below quality game....ending i can understand you did not like it...story i can understand you did not like it but dont say it is low quality game ...coz it is not...lot of stuff in that game is top quality -Soundtrack,characters ,environments, writing etc ..... you know the only part of the soundtrack i remember? when you are on that quarian mission and the mass effect 1 menu theme starts up. that was better than anything in this game. tell me which of the new characters you found memorable. vega? the shuttle pilot? the one who stands next to you in the galaxy map? was it the cameos by me2 characters? the only ones i found myself caring about were the me1 characters. i'll give you environments. as far as i'm concerned, it was the highlight of the game. beautiful artwork, especially in the backgrounds but the levels themselves also looked great throughout. a job well done by the artists. unfortunately, great artwork can not lift a game out of mediocrity. and as for the writing, the less said the better. talking about that would be full on game spoilers so i'll refrain from posting about it as i imagine i would draw a ban faster than most people in this thread. suffice it to say that i think one has to be simple to think that this game has consistently good writing. If you look past few pages...almost everyone has been praising the OST...the games soundtrack is one of the best for me...you should try to go through some soundtracks on youtube and see for yourself...may be in game you were too busy playing to notice some background music... characters- by characters i dont mean just new characters...the old ones are still great too...and even non playable characters are interesting so overall the whole game had pretty interesting characters. and environments you too agree is beautiful....all these combine does make this title good enough to atleast play once for many...for us fans honestly could not have asked for more.... zen
Yeah that downright stupid.why not donate to some charity. at dis point even if they change the end it wont matter.why cant ppl get that fact They did donate to a charity called Child's Play. The money (33,000$) was collected and sent to an independent organization. Whether you agree with them or not, its the one good thing that came from ME3 (supposedly) crappy ending. ScrewyAurum
As revealed in a behind-the-scenes look at Mass Effect 3's development, The Final Hours of Mass Effect 3, BioWare was working on a Mass Effect multiplayer FPS in 2010. The game-that-never-was was called Mass Effect Team Assault, and was expected to be released as a downloadable game. Four months were spent on creating a prototype that took its inspiration from Battlefield 1943 and Unreal Tournament. The idea later fed into Mass Effect 3's multiplayer mode, and Mass Effect Team Assault was quietly shelved for the time being.

dylanjosh
OK, I put in a good 8 hrs yesterday. I absolutely love the dialogue. Love going and talking to your crewmates. I love the chatter in missions. I've noticed the conservation scenes are glitchy though - lots of jumping around the screen. Never happened to me in ME2. The scanning mini-game... Can't I look for resources in systems not occupied by Reapers??
ColorCodePurple
bioware went mainstream back in 09. the original mass effect was like their swan song. DA:Origins was really good too. It went downhill after that, with DA:2 When it came out,I appreciated the fact that Bioware had released an expansion pack instead of a DLC for DA:O, Expansion packs, unlike DLC's are not rip offs and is a true way to enhance the game. Alas, that time has passed.
