No it doesn't. I romanced Miranda on my second playthrough, destroyed the data and she chose to stick with me.

 

 

BTW, you are seriously hampering your enjoyment by thinking too much about a game about which we know very little at this point. We really don't know how the choices will pan out in ME3 (and going by what happened between ME1 and ME2, I'm not expecting much).

Completed everything in the game

lvl 30 shepard, nothing else left to do except another playthrough :bigyellowgrin:

So this is the last decision I have to make :batman:

I am level 35 and still not completed everything (side missions) in the game. :fear:

Bioware needs to tweak the Paragon/Renegade system. I don't hate it but it's too binary and usually stalls people from truly "role-playing". One of DA2's (very few) positives was the removal of a karma system which allowed better role playing during conversations. Coming back from a fresh playthrough of The Witcher the flaws in the strict morality system become even more obvious.

All this placement of dialogue(up for +ve & down for -ve) is a bit downer

Errr...what they actually need is to make the dialogue options more ambiguous, you always know that the first one is the 'good' one and the middle one is neutral and the last is evil, that is just too damn one dimensional. Alpha Protocol handled the conversation/dialogue the best, much superior to any of the Bioware games.

^^ +1. Thats perhaps the only good part about AP. And it was not like you get infinite time to pick your line, like the first scene in ME 2,when the ship is about to blow up and you ask joker to get up, he refuses and you can pick your line in infinite time. Looks pretty stupid now. AP did it very well, by giving a limited time, made you practically get into the shoes of the character and take a call. There were times when I took some bad calls in confusion/chaos, the game made me pay for it. I guess thats how RPGames should be in the first place !

Bioware Teaming Up with Dice to Create Weapons For ME3

Things are starting to ramp up for Mass Effect 3 that Bioware is actually in the works with some of the guys from DICE(Battlefield Franchise) to work on creating some sweet weapons for the game. Details from CHIEF, a gaming magazine from Belgium, described the process of how DICE is actually going into deep research on how some of the weapons would take effect in real life, with gravity and space calculated into the equation/process of making these weapons.

DICE is taking into account of how the weapons would fire in space, and what kind of sound it would make in the different environments in the game. I’m actually looking forward to hearing what they come up with. This makes me anxious.

-A human mega city that formed when Vancouver and Seattle merged.

Add: That's where you'll spend your time on Earth. So not London or New York like previously mentioned. Describes the planet: 'It's curved, futuristic buildings bathe in beautiful light as the sea laps into the waterfront and docks.' They also saw the aftermath in which the Reapers decimate it.

 

Heavy Melee Attacks

-Class based one hit kill melee move.

-There is a new charged-up melee attack where Shepard uses his Omni-Tool to inflicting a big burning hit.

 

Additional Details:

-Casey Hudson says, the game will have some epic moments, as well as 'smaller, more personal moments' that exceeds the previous 2 games. The player will start realising things from Shepard's personal life. He will have to deal with the consequences of the sacrifices he's had to make.

-Obvious: Your choices will all have an impact in ME 3 such as the genophage, the collector base, your LI choices etc.

-New enemy type: The Cannibal. Part Batarian, part Human and part Reaper. Consumes other enemies in combat to gain strength.

-The Turret that Engineers can use won't kill enemies, but distract them.

-Gunfights are quicker and more deadly (confirmation).

-Visually it's tapping the heels of games such as Killzone 3 and Crysis 2, with 6 months development time left.

-The Rachni decision may haunt you in ME 3.

-Character customisation will be as extensive as ever.

-The action, rather than the all-linear affair of ME 2, will be more along the lines of Uncharted.

-New Cerberus troops are called Phantoms and Assassins.

-Shepard faces full-on bosses in the game's story. Some are really huge. One part, you have to lure a Reaper up to a Thresher Maw so they can duke it out.

-"Many of the core story levels are built around the largest, most dramatic moments in the galaxy."

-The Mass Effect series has sold over 7 million copies.
