Massive Rumor: Ex-Rockstar Intern Leaks GTA V Info, Confirms Red Dead Rebellion, and More

Recommended Posts

We recently caught wind of a massive Grand Theft Auto V rumor and it's almost too good to be true.

Yesterday I read a very interesting set of details brought forth by a guy named Brendan who claims to be a graphic designs major at Full Sail University. Mr. Brendan claims to have had a 12 month contractual agreement as an intern for Rockstar Games. Mr. Brendan also claims to have gathered a bit of information on the game and has shared a mouthful of details. Mr. Brendan even goes as far as confirming Red Dead Rebellion, Bully 2, and Wild Metal 2.

Please note that we highly suggest you take the following quoted material with a grain of salt... as a matter of fact why don't you eat a whole bag of it.

The following quoted material is from Ed Elric (Brendan).

^Horrible keyboard and mouse controls, random crashes, muddy, very very muddy visuals (imagine upscaled PS2 resolution) and few game breaking bugs. I gave it up after playing it for few hours and continued on PS2. I think there was a patch released, but the port still sucked.

Here, from the wiki:

The Xbox 360 version of Bully: Scholarship Edition was found to be unstable on some players' consoles, resulting in glitches, crashes and performance issues. Rockstar promised to have a patch addressing these issues by the week of March 10, 2008, however the patch was delayed due to Microsoft Certification.[47] On March 20, a patch was released via Xbox Live (v1.03), but there are reports which claim the problems have continued or worsened after patching.[48] The problems included audio issues, animation issues, and inability to complete Music classes due to differences between the Wii and Xbox 360 controllers. The most prevalent and common problem with the game is the unexplained freezing of the console, but not music being played on a connected MP3 player or hard drive. GameSpot, a game review website which bases its reviews on the initial public release, took the glitches into account and marked the 360 version of the Scholarship Edition down to a 7/10,[49] a full point lower than the Wii version, which received an 8.[50] The UK magazine NGamer gave the game 90%.[citation needed]

The PC version of Bully: Scholarship Edition was criticized by many, being found by end users to contain problems including textures which were either disappearing or were slow to load, memory leaks, and an endless loop after the initial cut scene in which player speaks with the headmaster when the player had more than 2 GB of memory.[51] However, these issues were addressed in a later patch.[4]

^And that HD version sucked all kind of balls on PC. Horrible.

All those balls were then un-sucked after the patch... Then again, comparing to the HD games that being released now, Bully on 360 and PC was weak....

I wouldn call Bully Scholarship Edition a HD version... It was more of a port... A cheap one at that..
