Ph3N0M Posted April 24, 2012 Report Share Posted April 24, 2012 When team A and team B are playing phase 1(one TDM and one Plunder match), Team A decides which mode to play first(Plunder or DM) and Team B decides the map for that mode. map for the other mode will be decided by Team A after teh first match. Lobby leaders for the matches will be the one from the team that chooses the map. Lobby leader will always be a 5th seeded player in the team(this is to reduce host advantage). If he is not compatible with any of the players, 5th seeded player from opponent team hosts it. What is host advantage? BTW, I am so sad for not being able to take part this time. What we need to figure out host latency is some kind of kill event common to all players. Something like an exploding grenade. In the video above, Moscow lobs a grenade into our latency-testing orgy of gunfire, jumping and basic arsing about, but he is actually the third player to witness its detonation, and all the signs point to Camberley, as party leader who assembled the team to begin with, as host. I say make the host from group 5 that has the lowest ping to even better the experience for everyone (especially me ). Just a suggestion other wise I'm fine with the current decision. Any of the group 5 player in the two teams can host it. if both of them are not compatible with any of the other 9 players. players from group 4 will be hosts.
