mshingore
I had never heard of Gabriel Iglesias before, and I watch quite a few stand ups now and then. So I googled him and found his nickname was fluffy. Still, Bill Burr is my fav stand up comic Yeah Bill Burr is excellent too! He's probably the second on my list of current best comedians. No 1 for me is clearly FLUFFY!
mshingore
Watching comedy nights with Kapil. Is that mostly an improv show? Most of kapil's dialogues seem to be improv .. That is where you are mistaken, my friend I know his style is like that but a lot of stuff from him seems spur of the moment

And his latest Aloha Fluffy is just awesome Edited September 2, 2013 by mshingore
DishuBOSS
as for comedy night with Kapil, it is def a fun program, till those part time Celebrities turn up I like the show very much (especially before the celebs come and take over the show), but I also believe that Kapil's talent could have been put to a better format. What they did here is they took Umar Sharif's comedy theater format and combined it with the Kumars at No 42. IMO Kapil has all the potential to be the Indian Conan O Brien.

Ya i agree, but guess he will only go bigger from here, this is a good platform to start. Krishna, Sudesh all who started before him, he just shot passed them with ease. He definitely is one of the best comedians in India right now.
Shantz
I agree that it's a very good platform for Kapil to start with. The o brien type things have been done in India several times in the past. Umar sharif type stuff hasn't been and it is a guaranteed laugh riot. So it gives the audience something fresh. What I'd hate right now though is that he might get lured by bollywood, do some movies as the hero ka funny dost and then be forgotten. Edit: What I'd love is if he can revive something like Jaspal Bhatti's ulta pulta or flop show Edit: I also love that he was quick to shed his Inspector shamsher image even though he was so popular with that Edited September 2, 2013 by Shantz

Parineeti- wahi jo tere behen ka hai!! kapil:- wahi haal jo meri behen ka hai? matlab tunhara peth kharab hai.. balle balle balle balle! ofcourse it was funnier when kapil said it.. DishuBOSS
True, i like Manish Paul a lot too, i can actually sit through that stupid Jhalak show (my wive's fav) cos of these two, they make a great team. Manish Paul is good too. But I guess, he didnt have the vision that Kapil had. The same thing is with Krushna, Sudesh and many other comedians like Raju Srivastava, Sunil Pal etc. Kapil is different because he decided to create a job for himself and the others. While the rest of them waited for somebody else to come and offer them a job. I love the part when he tells the celebrity some of there accomplishments and then ends it by saying "aur ab aapko Comedy nights with Kapil main aake kaisa lag raha hai" My most fav part of him with a celeb (of all the episodes yet) was when he and Deepika were on the scooter. Kapil: "Tumhare paas 10 rupaye hain?" Deepika: "Illey!" Kapil: "Par is scooter main 10 ka petrol daalo, tab ye scooter hilley!"
