'Pranay Posted August 6, 2012 Author Report Share Posted August 6, 2012 It's a rip off and you know better Sony fan boys, it's not even a good rip off from what I saw there's a barely any strategy involved in this game,they ripped off the worst side of Smash the thing that plagued brawl competitiveness (atleast you can disable it on brawl) and made it into the main mechanic of the game, I'm talking about the "Supers" and they didn't rip off the good part, they didn't copy the knock out, in a way they wanted to make it unique, but what they did is just like taking the cover of SSBB and scratching off (Super Smash Bros. Brawl) and put (PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale) on top of it with crayons and tape Kratos picture with a bunch Play station characters. Only fan boys will deny the fact that it's a rip off, but even if it was. Why is it a bad Rip off? Why did they add a stupid system that ruins the fun of the game ? Did they think by putting such stupid system will magically make their game original ? atleast if you want to copy a game do it right, because most of the people aren't blind from the truth that PSABR is a SSB. clone, so changing the game's system is like buying a cake for your kid's birth day from the bakery and add some cream on top of it and say to your kid "Mommy made this cake for you" but we all know that you bought that cake from the bakery, and the kid knows that but he didn't want to make his mom look like a liar. Shadoken Posted August 6, 2012 Report Share Posted August 6, 2012 That post was hilarious ....heck the whole thread was lulz , GAF loves Kamiya AND PSABR , that thread will go on for eternity Its definitely not a whole new type of game like SF,Tekken,Smash,MvC.But honestly I dont see why people even care if its rip-off or not. A game doesnt HAVE to be original to be good. The difference between this and Smash can be compared to the likes of T6,TTT2 or SF4,SSF4..... The Fundamentals remain the same , but DIFFERENT Characters/Moves and Gameplay changes will change how you play the entire game. Heck you can call every shooter out there a rip off of doom but thats not really how it works lol. If this game does well , Those stupid Smash fans whining about it should actually be happy they finally have a big competitor . And if its soo similar like they claim , why dont they just play and enjoy it the PS3 version came out later because the console was new and back then many third parties would release PS3 versions late. No it's wrong! you people live on by what we produce, you were born from a failed experiment that was made by Nintendo, you are like Frankenstein of gaming, you live on because Sony steal ideas from Nintendo and make it out like they never did, Super Smash bros is only the latest to the list, you did a Mario Clone, a Zelda Clone, Mario Kart clone (several),F-Zero clone,Fire Emblem Clone, you stole Final Fantasy, you stole every good franchise from Nintendo, Sony fans and developers are like Leeches on this industry, atleast be classy like Sega and Microsoft (that doesn't prove I like them either). I mean just look at dante on that second pic , But i guess its hard considering stages and big and full of stuff. And keeping the game at 60fps locked. KnackChap Posted October 18, 2012 Report Share Posted October 18, 2012 playing it on the vita and its smooth as hell, 60fps goodness on the vita. its looks gorgeous too, i dont know how good the PS3 version looks but i cant imagine it looking much better than the vita version anyways. the game is loads of fun, easy to get into but can be confusing to keep an eye on your character with all the mayhem going on.
