Major-Minor Posted January 18, 2009 Report Share Posted January 18, 2009 (edited) @Pushy - Nope, good'ol Dx9.0. @Death Stryke - Actually Physx just adds a few things to the game, some particle effects, fluttering flags and other cloth/plastic etc, better shattering glass etc., game looks just slightly better with PhysX on. My rig (if it matters) E2160 (OCed to 2.81GHz) 2GB DDR2 800MHz MSI 4670 Here is a list of Mods I was using - 1) Dargos Better Lighting Mod Ver 2.0 - which gets rid of the brown bloom. http://www.mediafire.com/?4xpyhyzy2dm 2) Beetleatwar's Ultra High Settings Mod - V12 - Gives you more options in the games graphics option menu. http://files.filefront.com/Ultra+High+V12+...;/fileinfo.html and finally 3) Beetleatwar's Enhanced Ultra V2.7 - All Car and Crowd Textures/details are better than the regular ones. http://files.filefront.com/Enhanced+Ultra+...;/fileinfo.html Newer versions of the last two mentioned mods are out, but I prefer the ones mentioned above as the performance loss is more for them for slightly better visual quality. However right now I have reinstalled the game and have been using only the first mentioned Mod and the game looks great. I recommend using just the Dargos Better Lighting Mod for your system.
