GamingKid Posted May 23, 2012 Report Share Posted May 23, 2012 Hello Guys MY Self Sourav frm a Remote Area[Korba] in Chattisgarh, I have a 750ul Home BSNL plan for which I pay 750rs a month though d Download speed sucks[0.5mbps:(]but D browsiing Speed is Amazing ! My Problem is,I ve Been playing call of duty 4[Cracked Version] since a month or so,But my Ping is Really too high Durin Day time....In d Morning[till 11am] my ping is good enough and i can join any server :D wid around 150-200 m/s But as the Time passes and its past 12 am , I can hardly join a Server !! my Ping Goes to like 700,800 and some times 999 m/s !!! Even if i get in any server it laggs or d Admins kick him :( i have Been Really Annoyed I dont even have any indian frnds with whom i can play wid So guys der are 2 reasons behind me postin dis thread First-do anyone of u still play cod 4 ? if Do please Do Tell,So we can play together Second-SHould i go for a different connection ? if so,Den which connection should i go for ? Btw thanx for the Quick Reply bro, BSNL is not good for gaming i would say atleast over the PC as it gives damn high PING over it! @BOTH RUZI and GAMINGKID - Try going to your router configuration page and see if you are able to find the values of SNR (DOWNSTREAM) and SNR9UPSTREAM). These values should be around 30 which means you are getting appropriate signal in your line. Me was also having too many damn disconnections but then went and told them and they changed my connection to some other place. These values should be around 30 which means you are getting appropriate signal in your line. Me was also having too many damn disconnections but then went and told them and they changed my connection to some other place. Thanx Hmm , you will get high pings on servers from China even because even it is our closest as soon as u take ur connection internation , it has to go through a lot of traffic , and the packets take a long time to reach . The only thing you can do is be on Indian servers . 512 kbps is good enough for Indian servers and any game but ur experiencing ping problems mostly because of your modem . try getting a decent one from beetel and ask the company to install it ( if it's compatible) . P.S. I also played Modern warfare online on cracked indian servers and never suffered ping problem even on 256 kbps crappy connection . always was 40 ~ 80 ms . Are u referring 512kbps as download speed or surfing speed???I have 1mpbs connection sify bb but still got very high lag.. i haven't figured any way till now..
