Ethan_Hunt Posted March 30, 2014 Report Share Posted March 30, 2014 I'm almost near the end of the game and though I feel Lords of Shadow was a much better game, this isn't all that bad either. The only 2 major problems I have is the stealth sections and lack of environment variety. I have maxed out all my weapons mastery and purchased nearly every skill for my weapons. I only have a few more Void, Chaos and Life Gems to collect. The combat is certainly much more interesting in this game. The combo variety and intensity of your skills increases immensely once you're mastery level increases. Some of the chaos combos are definitely kick-a*s. I love the boss battles in this game. I didn't really want those "Shadow of Colossus" style fights anymore and this game had some very interesting bosses to offer. The story and voice acting, again, is really good. I would certainly like to know more about Trevor and Victor Belmont, as the cut-scene at the beginning was just a quick re-cap of the past events. Void and Chaos for a certain time really constrained the whole potential of powers in combat in LOS1. Its a great improvement they changed it. Santa Monica must also be sh*t developers for copying DMC( 3D combat, enemy juggles) . and Naughty Dog is sh*t developer for copying Mario with Crash ( running and fking jumping) , Guerilla is sh*t developer because they copied Doom (aiming and shooting). Almost every AAA games platforming is like Prince of Persia , all TPS have cover system . Does that mean all of them are sh*t devs? Just STFU dude , you know sh*t about gaming. Heck I doubt you even know how important a franchise Castlevania is. Castlevania is a legendary franchise waaay before Sony and stuff. Without it modern HnS wouldnt even exist. It had giant boss battles even back then , but in 2D. So obviously when it comes to 3D it will share some similarities and inspirations from modern games. People saying it copied GOW because of whips , what a bunch of fkign retards. Castlevania had whips 2 decades before GOW. And Hope is calling others fanboys ?
