It has inspired countless HnS titles and even the game that started it all , DMC. It had giant boss battles, combat mechanics,puzzles,platforming and tons of other stuff that are standard in HnS now. Just because it didnt transition well into 3D first doesnt make it "copying from others" But Cant argue with hope , he knows more about GOW than the creators themselves. According to him all games that are inspired from other games are sh*t. David Jaffe has gone on record saying both that God of War was heavily inspired by Devil May Cry and later on that he thinks Devil May Cry's fighting system is better. Tried playing LOS 1 Didn't grip me at all Holds nothing against GoW Even ascension Game play/ action wise gow is much better(except ascension. That was pos). But story wise LOS is much better. The final boss battle was a let down, especially with what we had in the first Lords of Shadow. Got 100% on everything except Artwork (91%) and challenges (yet to start), which I'll finish off in a while. Clocked around 31 hours in total. Will move onto the DLC after that. The first one had some notoriously tough boss fights. But if you're going to play this, finish the first one - on easy - if only for the story.
