There are two things that happen, first you get the signature. "SIGNATURE" word flashes below Austin. Hit Lou Thesz Press then. If you waste too much time, that Signature gets converted into Finisher and a "F" is written below Austin. If you press Y then, he would do a stunner instead. Here is how a finisher system works in WWE games: Build up your momentum meter by doing different moves (repeated moves will make it longer, so add variety) Doing successful taunts also builds momentum meter. Once it is full, SIGNATURE Icon starts flashing. Then you can either hit a signature or wait for it to get converted into Finisher. If you wait, it gets converted into White Finisher (F) When you hit a Signature successfully, you get a Finisher (F icon). This time it flashes Red and White. When it is flashing, and if you hit it, you do max damage. If you waste too much time, it gets converted into white F. If you hit a white F finisher, it does lesser damage, but it is still good. Then there are variety of other things you can do with Finisher stored, like steal opponents Finisher, do OMG! moments, set table on fire etc etc. Also, there are Comebacks, which you can do with wrestlers with Comeback ability like Undertaker, HBK etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Rock, Kane, Undertaker, Austin and many others have their own celebration animation/gestures. Exactly like what happens IRL. Are you sure the SIGNATURE is flashing when you attempt thesz press? Try other way, irish whip HBK on the ropes, and when he comes back, press Y.
