Naughty Dog Co-Founder Becomes THQ President

THQ has had it rough lately. When the going gets rough, changes need to be made. For THQ, a big part of pulling itself up from the financial dredges appears to be appointing Jason Rubin, co-founder of Naughty Dog, as the company’s new president.

Rubin replaces former THQ president Danny Bilson, who’ll be moving on to something new. When he was at Naughty Dog, Rubin helped create the highly successful Crash Bandicoot and Jax and Daxter series. Following his departure from the company in 2004, Rubin co-created Flektor, a media mashup tool.

THQ is down but not out. Hopefully Rubin’s proven leadership and industry experience will help the troubled company find secure footing in its attempt to create successful, AAA games. We wish Mr. Rubin and THQ the best of luck.

All the best to THQ..... :good:

Homefront 2 is being developed by Crytek nah!It will be after Crysis 3 i guess

Yes... It is being developed by Crytek UK a.k.a Free Radical, the ppl behind TimeSplitters series and not the team developing Crysis 3... Then again there are also rumours that Homefront 2 is being developed for next gen consoles... Not sure though... However since Homefront 2 is being published by THQ, I am sure the President of THQ will have a say on the quality of the final product...

Err... off topic ..but is homefront good enough for Single player??

The SP is good... But really short... May be 4-5 hours tops... It was the MP where Homefront really shone... Such a shame that the game never had a strong community (like CODs ad BF), however there is still a decent community playing Homefront on the PC... Not sure about the consoles though...
