Witcher 3 had lots of bugs and issues at launch and they didn't abandon it. This game has received 4 patches already with noticeable improvements and only getting better. ?

 

My bad, I haven't been following the backlash much and was speaking just from the reviews I read. Most of them complained about bugs but still gave good enough scores to take the OC and MC scores of > 90 which in current state it doesn't deserve. Also even in PC version most of the reviewers encountered a lot of bugs.

I played Witcher 3 on PS4 day1

bugs,performance issues don’t cause the issues we are witnessing on PS4/XBone systems 

They are just not able keep the game up & running in a presentable form 

 

& I don’t think that!! can be fixed with mere patches 

W3 was heavily downgraded

Yet another lie. CDPR got history of lying to consumers by showing fake videos.

Game is running on the consoles but hardware is too weak to keep up with the game. If you want better experience on consoles only? You'll have to get on PS5 or XSX. Those are the only consoles who can play this game at ease. 

 

Game is buggy but so far only few funny bugs have plagued the game which are ignored. Not many game breaking bugs reported or experienced.

 

That is not how it is supposed to be. It is their job to make sure the console they are releasing the game on is adequate. If it can't keep up, one should not release it. They didn't even let a single review come out on said consoles.

Yea, that was bad on their part for not providing consoles review codes but the game isn't broken in any sense, just performs bad on consoles. When you'll play the game you'll see CDPR had to cut-off many things in order to make this playable on previous gen consoles. This isn't their first time or the only publisher who pulled this off. But because of the insane hype this game created it's in limelight.

If they did give out PS4/XBO copies for critics to review, the score would definitely be below 80.

 

Currently on PS4, meta has one critic review at 35. User score is at 2.6/10.

On Xbox its 2 critic reviews at 35 and 68 , with user score of 3.3/10.

Had a weird moment... While sneaking I made a mistake by un-crouching and walking. A guard ahead my footsteps and spotted me only to open fire. I reloaded my last save but now magically each time the guard spawned right in front of me and opened fire! Tried reloading a few times but to no avail. Same scenario repeated... game loads and enemy right in front of me!!

 

I was like screw it... I'm shooting my way through :raygun:
