Dev didnt start until 2016 Tsushima itself took 5 years. Too ambitious by CDPR.

When this game was announced in 2012 devs were still working on TW3 which released in 2015. And that entire year they were fixing the game as it did have bugs. Not as bad as this game but still.

 

Guess people just forgot about that detail and counted 7 years.

This should be a lesson for every developer out there. Never try to copy Rockstar games when making open world games. Rockstar is king of the genre for a reason and any studio trying to copy them will end up destroying themselves, just like CDPR did.

Played a bit on launch just to get a taste of things. Was hoping to complete it after the nextgen update but I guess that'll be a long wait. Bunch of assholes this CDPR!

They can't release just for One X and Pro. There's a mandatory rule by Sony and MS, if game is playable on One X then it should work on base machines as well. Same goes for Pro and PS4.

There is no game out there which can only be played on Pro but not PS4. ONE X and Pro are last gen upgrades not new gen machines

 

 

So they should have just released for seriesX and s and ps5 and PC,  that's it

One thing i want to say that This a**hole Jason needs to stop his Witch hunt for CDPR. We all know there were problems and they already acknowledged it in video. So now let them work on fixes and stop beating the dead horse.

That’s Journalism 101. Negative news has more traffic than positive news therefore more commission for the author. 
 

However CPDR did unethical practices which should be condemned otherwise the rest of the developers would get away with it.

Damn, I had seen bad.. but can’t even describe this.. Is this all true, some looked like captured on a very low end PC.. Mostly it’s all from the 1.00 version so much sh*t shipped out ..

Lolz they acknowledged it only after the backlash and threat of cases filed against them... cmon, they faked an entire demo to create hype for the game!!! 

The way CDPR have ruined there reputation should be a lesson to others...

I played Witcher 1 on PC when it came out. Trust me, it had 5 minute loading times, unlimited bugs, and an awful combat system. If people had reacted the way they reacted to Cyberpunk’s launch then maybe there would have been no Witcher 3. Of course times were different but there are glimpses of greatness in Cyberpunk 2077. Wonder if they will get a chance to make a new one... it would be tragic if this ends up being their last game.

 

I am expecting an enhanced edition like they did for Witcher 1. They need to massively overhaul the AI too. GTA SA had a better AI and that came out 14 years ago.
