They really undersold visuals. Every area looks fantastic. So much detail.

Unbelievable ! While its clear that kind of visual fidelity cannot be expected from all systems, still this looks to be the actual next-gen game that every one expected to see.   Also, lol that a small studio from Poland has slapped every major western/jap game developer in the face with this.  While others gave excuses for their current gen / sub-par visuals, here CDP comes and shows how its done.  Really hats off

lol its not small, its got 1000+ people working on the game. The amount of man hours spent on it would shame something like RDR2.

but isn't CDP much smaller company compared to say EA/ Ubi ? I think they got mainstream attention after W3, and I guess most of those 1000+ employees would be short-term/contract-to-hire workers ?t

SS is doing fine, better than One S.

Its better than One X as well. One X has bit better resolution but drops lot of frame during intense scenes and got popins and long loadtimes. You have to remember One X got more gpu memory bandwidth but way weaker cpu and very slow hdd and ram speed slow as well.

 

Series S runs way better according to those who tried it and loads way faster with almost no to very little pop ins thanks to fast SSD. I bet with next gen upgrade Series S will easily outclass One X version by miles.

Yep. CDPR have ~870 and GOG have ~172 under CD Projekt. Ubisoft have 18000+. Valhalla had 15 studios working on it for example.. 

 

These guys started with $2K and friend's flat as office. 25 years later here we are.
