VATS is the patchwork for terrible shooting mechanic. The reason it sucks in 76 is because they removed VATS and you see the real underbelly of realtime aiming and shooting in Fallout games.

Havnt played any JRPGs cos most of them initially had turn bases combat which I never got along with, that’s why asking

PC low settings make it look like GTA IV. Also, the world and NPCs feel less alive compared to GTA V. Crowbcat is going to have a field day with this game.

I think after the botched Cyberpunk release, people will stop nitpicking or giving such a hard time to Ubisoft. Even if their games might have bugs at launch, they are rarely gamebreaking and usually look great. Legion looked more stunning on my PC than Cyberpunk does.

AI for traffic and driving is horrible. If you are jaywalking, cars will run over you, they will not stop or even honk. If you park your vehicle in middle of the road then in few mins, there will be a traffic jam behind it. AI wont be able to figure out a way to go around you. GTA 5 was a PS3 game and it had way better driving and AI for traffic. Also, dont get me started at Police teleporting behind you in seconds.

That's just bullshite lmao. Legion runs like trash and none of the settings have any impact on performance... Low/medium/high, all run poorly and visuals are nowhere near CP2077.

People who only played PS exclusives didn't know about Witcher series before W3. Both 1 and 2 were very good and even better than W3 in some aspects. Just wasn't marketed enough as CDPR wasn't major studio. 

 

Now they got enough money thanks to W3's success. CP2077 already made every dime spent.

even  GTA 3 / VC / SA did a better job than what you describe  .... comparing to GTA V is a stretch

 

I still remember being amazed in GTA 3 when random pedestrians would start fighting after bumping into each other in the middle of the road, or how some of them gave a challenge to the player and how some others would simply run away .... but i guess this game is not about that kind of open world, in GTA games, the world itself is the character and the story is just an excuse for you to continue partaking in it after messing around ! Here the focus seems to be more about the story and NC is a background, i'm assuming this setting is a base for their many games to come.  And maybe it won't be difficult to fix the AI bugs from code in the next few months !

 

PS: Also, amusing to see how this thread turned from cp loving to cp bashing in no time, reminds of the GTA IV days (although that game was bashed for different reasons)

I remember the npcs giving us a finger from their car if we are holding up redlight or bump a little bit in their car. Bump too much and they will come out to fight. Here in Cyberpunk, NPCs are on ahimsa oath. Even if you destroy their car, they wont do anything. They will even burn down with the car and wont come out.

Totally botched marketing and development. Even ps3 games handle things LOD, NPC AI better. 

 

Life paths differences end after 10 minutes into the game. All meet Jackie and then same for everyone... Occasionally you get some dialogue choices which again have no impact as important dialogues are always marked in yellow and same for all paths.

 

So lame.

It was meant to happen, hyped people get ultra defensive mechanism kicked in, which turns into massive aggression towards anyone even with legit criticism.

And I kinda give it to 2077,  screenshots taken on high-end PCs can give anyone massive boner, PCMR lives on such testosterone boosts.

She wasn't right though. World only opens up when you level up your street cred by doing sides stuff. If you don't do, you don't unlock any vendors or items or more world activities. She skipped entire open world stuff because she didn't want to help cops and others. 

 

She also skipped upgrades and crafting which have heavy impact on combat and gameplay... ?

Having low score is good for people who work and looking forward to their bonuses after years of work. Not every person is responsible for bugs and nor should everyone be punished. It is a team work. 

 

Obsidian had 85 meta incentive for New Vegas and failed by 1 point which resulted in employees not getting their bonuses because some guy decided to give it 6.5.

Tying bonuses to arbitrary ratings like MC or OC is so lame and unfair. It should ideally be tied to revenue/profit generated like how it is for a lot of industries.
