its a fair practise, even in regular software companies there's a CSAT component thats tied to bonuses, irrespective of how much money the company makes.  That's one way to push the quality forward (and avoid exactly these kind of PR nightmare scenarios) !

Okay did both now. The  system RAM (I set it to 16000MB since I have 32GB of RAM) and my GPU VRAM (I set it to 8GB since my RX 480 has 8GB memory).

 

I'll see if I get any boost in FPS when I game post-lunch.

you can write 16GB instead of 16000MB. Game will recognize it.

We can't compare the scores given by reviewers alone for bonuses. They represent such a negligible part of the actual customer demographic. Also in today's world, one jackass reviewer deciding to give it a low score due to his/her political/religious/sexual bias is so unfair to the people who have worked hard on the said product and when it is reviewing good elsewhere.

anyway, apart from the glitches, how is the other aspects of the game like side quests , npc's , gameplay etc ? Also, how long is the game apart from main quest ?

I have played for 15 hours now I think. The characters in the story are written really well and they have a soul here. However random NPCs are the most stupid/weird NPCs in a game. Quests are nice and I am used to the driving as well now.i read the side stuff takes around 60-80 hours, even more if you go for 100%.

LoL... on the memory_pool_budgets.csv Excel file the system RAM was written in MB and VRAM in GB so I followed that order as well.

Game is good if you are on PC but if you are on console then its AC Unity all over again.

 

Also, CDPR is now up there with EA and Activation when it comes to shady practices. 

 

There's no defending them now.

Its self published game. No one forced them. They weren't under publisher pressure to hit the deadline.

 

If its not ready delay it. Halo infinite was in similar situation when it was revealed but they delayed and now based on screenshots its looking much better.

Xbox one X and Pro part of refund as well. 

 

Thing is they just can't release game for just OneX and Pro. MS and Sony both mandate that if game is One X then it should run on base Xbox as well and same goes for Sony.
